t Wild it appearing to the Court that there was an agreement ba tween Rerr County and the City
of Kerrville whet eby there wen en election to be held on April 5th, 1941 in Kerr County as e
whole, and in the City of Her rv ilia for the purpose oP auth orizing the is suence of $40,000.00
in bonds, for the purpose of puroha singe site for an air port, X20,000.00 in bonds to be is aced
by Kerr Cou[rty afd X20,000.00 in bonds by the City of Ke rrv ill e, and that said Kerr County and
the City of 3errvil ]s were to act io intly in the acquisition of said site for said airport and
were to aYso to act ,jointly in securing an appr opt iatim from 'Lhe Civil Aar onautiea Nut hot ity
for the construction of said airport,~ith the Purther agreement that when said site had been
ecq uir ed and all construction had been completed by the Civil Aar one uti os Authority, then and
in that event Kerr County was to relinquish to the City of Ke rrvill e, the complete manag emeat
~ lend control of said airport end that the Clty of Kerrville was to assume the full responsibilit ,
financial end otherwise Por the proper management, upkeep and control of said airport without
any recourse or demand of say nature whatsoever against Kerr County for the !nnagement, upkeep

ing of the runways, has long since been completed by the Civil Aeronautics Authority and that
the City of Kerrville has had and assumed the full management end control of said airport sine e

County anti its' citi zsna hip es a whole for Kerr County to be relieved of any and sll Purther
reaponsibili ty in oonn act ion with the operation, upkeep or management of se id airport,
WHEREUPON, by motion duly made, seconded sad unanimously adop et ed, St is ordered that Kerr
County relinquish to the City of Kerrville any and ell right to per Licipation in the operation,
upkeep and control of said Kerrville Municipal dirport, with the u[xiers tend ing that the City
of Kerrville mall hereafter forever be responsible Por any and all cape nse incurred in the open
ation, upkeep, management end control aP said air port, without recourse or demand again at Kerr
County for the payment of any part of any cape ns es incurred is or Inc ldental to the operation

Camps open sting in Rerr County for the employment of J. R. Gaines, Sanitarian, had expired end
the current year.

~I gaged is a vital importance to the general welfare of the citizenship of Kerr County as a whop
and igs OU ld be continued until such time as it can be determined whether or not it can be arranF

of Texas, the City of Kerrville find the Kerr villa Inds, endant Sehcol ilistrict. +fhich will pr o
bably require at least three months time to determj"n e,

Court that the said J. H. Gaines be and is hereby employed to continue said work Por a period
not ext ending beyond Jan ua _ry 1st, 1947, at a solery oP 200.00 a month, bag inning September 12
1946, to be paid out of the Oenerel Fund of Kerr County, Texas by proper voucher drawn against
said fuid by the County Treasurer of Kerr County.
