On this the 12th day oP August, p, D. 1947, came on to be considered by the Court the
matter of an audit of the financial affairs end transactions of Kerr County for a two year
per Sod Prom July 1st, 1945 through Sune 30, 1947. And it appearing to the Court that such
audit is necessary and that Howard-pope & Compenq had previously audited the affairs of Rerr
County for various periods in a satisfactory manner end that they are willing to audit such
period at a price last contracted for two year term, 1943 to 1945, and that such audit is reasc
able, and that same should be awarded to said Howard-Fops & Comps ny.
Therefore, upon motion duly made, secon~ed and unanimously adopted it is ordered that
Howard-pope end Company`s proposition be and is hereby accepted and that upon the fulfillment
of their contract and the acceptance of same Dy the court that the County Clerk of Kerr County,
be and is hereby authorized and dlr acted Lo pay to Howard-Pope & Company the sum of r775.OC

This the 12th day of August, A, D. 1947, came on to be considered the necessity of an
Automobile for the Sheriff`s Department of Kerr County, by request submitted by Sheriff, A. F.
Moore, end the bid of Peterson Garage & Auto Company, for one 1947 Chevrolet 4-door Sedan,
Fl eetline, at a purchase price of $1597.50, less Federal Excise Tex, and one per cent State
Tax, plus en additional $25.50 for seat covers. And St appearing to the Court that such purcbe
is necessary, and the auto is ava iletle at the present time.
