On this the 12th day of August, q, D. 1947, came on to be considered by Lhe Court the
matter oP an audit of the financial of fairs and transe ct ions of Kerr County for a two year
per led Prom Tuly 1st, 1945 through June 30, 1947. pnd it appearing to the Court Lhat such
audit is necessary and that Howard-Pope & Company had previously audited the affairs of Rerr
County for various periods in a satisfactory manner and that they are willing to audit such
period et a price last contracted for two year term, 1943 to 1945, and that such audit is reas~
able, end that same should be awarded to said Howard-Pope & Comps ny.
Therefore, upon motion duly made, seconCed and unanimously adopted it Se ordered that
Howard-pope and Company's proposition be and is hereby accepted and that upon the fulfillment
of their contract and the acceptance of same Dy the court that the County Clerk of Kerr County,
ba and is hereby authorized end directed to pay to Howard-Pope & Company the sum of Y775.OC
out of the General Fund of the County for the pe yment of said work.

This the 12th day of August, p, D. 1947, came on to be considered the necessity of an
Automobile for the Sher if P's Department oP Kerr County, by request submitted by Sheriff, p, F.
ldoor e, and the bid of Peterson Garage & Auto Company, for one 1947 Chevrolet 4-door Sedan,
Fleetline, et a purchase price of $1597.50, less Federal Excise Tax, end one per cent State
Tax, plus an additional X25.50 for seat covers, And it appearing to the Court that such purcht
is necessary, end the auto is aveileT3e at the present time.
It is therefore, Ordered, adjudged and decreed, that the County Tud ge pure hose the vehicle
in the name of Kerr County, for the Sheriff's Depa rtmenL, and the County Clerk is hereby direct
to drew voucher on the County Treasurer in an aggregate of $1554.25, to cover automobile and
seat covers, payable to Pe Carson's Garage & Auto Company, drawn on the General Fund of Karr
County.
