general eleot ion on November 2nd, 1948 amending Section 61 of prt iole 16 of the Stste Co netitut

a population of leas than 20,000.00, of whioh this amendment requir ea that all peace off is ere
be pleoed on a regular salary beginning January let, 1949. It appearing to the Court that it 1
mandatory, that the Constables of Kerr County be oompeneated on a Salary basis.
