On this Lhe 12tH day of December, A. D. 1949, came on to ba cone idarad by the court the
desire of Commercial Office Supply Company of Se rrvl l.le, Texaa, to eater into a contract with
Kerr County for service on fourteen (14J typewriters and five (5) adding mach inea of which in-
cludes one National Cash Register for a period of one year beginning December 12th, 1949 to
December 12th, 1950. And it ap peering to the Court that such contract is in the amount of
X264.00 for the nineteen machines end that some cons ideretion should be given.
Therefore by motion duly me de by Furr, seconded by Powell, and unanimously approved by th
Court that the County Tudge end County Clerk be and are hereby authorized to check into the
matter and use their own discretion as to the benefit it would be to Kerr County to enter into
a uch contract.

On this the 20th day of December, A. D. 1949, came on to ba oo nsidered by the Court the
resignetio^ of County Judge, Jim W. Weatherby, effective as of December 31 at, 1949, et 12;00
P. M., due to the fact that said officer has eocepted the office of Ddatr ict Attorney of the
38th Judicial District of Texas. And it appearing to the Court that it is to their regret to
pert with this off leer, but that such ree ignetion aho uld be accepted.
Therefore by motion duly made by Molter, eeco nded by Eokstein, and unanimously approved
by the Court that the resignation of Tim W. Weatherby, County Judge, be accepted es of December
31a t, 1949, at 12:00 o'cl ook P. M.
