end accounts presented by the County Clerk and County Judge 1'or fees due their office, and it
appearing to the Court that if the two itemized claims are paid in 1949, they will not have to
be carried as delinquent fees by said officers, and for such convenience same should be approve
Therefore motion duly made by Molter, seconded by Powell, and unanimously eppm ved that
the two claims be approved, and that the County Clerk be and is hereby authorized to drew vouch
against the County Treasurer in like amounts pa yeble out of the General Fund of Kerr County to
said two officers.

resignation of Joe W. Burkett, Jr., es County Attorney of Kerr County, Texas, effective as of
Decembar 31st, 1949, at 12:00 o'clock P. M., due to the fact that said officer has accepted Lhe
appointment as County Judge of Kerr County, Texas. And it appearing to the Court that said re-
signation be eccep tad.
Therefore by motion duly made by Eckstein, seconded by Fur x', end unanimously approved by
the Court that the resignation of Joe N. Burkett, Jr., as County Attorney be accepted as of
