M. ~~- Pursuant to adi ournment taken by this court on the 23rd day of December, 1949 for the purpose of approving the bonds of County Judge and County Attorney, for the offices so vacated on December 20, 1949, the following officers were present, to-wit: Henry Eokstein,--------------------County Iommissioner, Precinct No. 1, V. D. Powell,----------------------County fommissioner, Precinct No. 2, Chas. H. Molter,-------------------County Commissioner, Precinct No. 3. W. H. Furr,------------------------County Commissioner, Precinct No. 4, Earl Garrett, Sheriff, and Lawrence Stephens, County Clerk, and the Following precedings were had to-wit: -o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o- No, 4565 APPROVAL OF BONDS AND QUALIFICATION OF OFFICERS. This the 1st day of January, 1950, came on to be examined by the court the official bonds end 23rd of the following named officers, appointed heretofore on December 20, X1949 to fill the vacancy of the offices of the County Judge and County Attorney, to fill the unexpired term ending December 31st, 1950, and it appearing to the court tkiat each of said bonds are good and suffi- clent and that such bonds should be approved by the court. Therefore by motion duly made by Furr, seconded by Eckstein and unanimously approved by the court that said officers are hereby directed to take the proper oath of office as requlr ed by law, and the County Clerk be and is hereby directed to record same in the official bond records of Kerr County to-wits Joseph W. Burkett, Jr., County Judge, bond in the amount oP $1000.00, with United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company, as surety; Joseph W. Burkett, Jr., ex-officio County Superintendent of Public Instructions, bond in the amount of $1000.00 with American Employers' Insurance Company, as surety; and James E.
