the eaeeption of the Paace Offioera, be compensated on the fee basis, and be allowed to retain

increased aompensatioa for the deputi ea of such vnrioua offiaera; and that the Peaoe Officers
of Kerr County be oompensated on a Salary basis, aaco rd ing to the provieiona of H. J. R. No.
36 of the 50th Legislature ae adopted by the people in the general election of November 2, 194
amending Section 61 of Article 16 of the State Constitution as the same applies for the pay-
meut of the salary of Sheriffs and Constables is Couati es having a population of lase then

Therefore by motion duly made by Molter, seconded by Eckstein, and unanimously approved
by the Court that all Distriot, County and Precinct Of fioera of Kerr County, with the ezoept
of the Pease OfPioers, shall retain such mazimum fees ae are earned by them in the perPormen
of their official duti ea, ae contemplated under Article 3g91 (a) R. C. S., which also ia-

compensation of all peace officers be compensated oa a Salary basis Por the fiscal year of
