amending Section 61 of Article 16 of the State Constitution as the same applies for the pay-
ment of the salary of Sheriffs sad Constables in Counties having a population of less then
20,000.00.
Therefore by motion duly made by Molter, seconded by Eckstein, and unanimously approved
by the Court that all Diatriot, County sad Preainct Of fioera of Kerr County, with the esoept
of the Peace Officers, shall retain such maximum fees ae are earned by them in the performer
of their official duties, ea contemplated under Article 3891 (a) R. C. S., whioh also in-
cludes the increased compeasati on for the dap utiea of such various officers; and that the
compensation of all peace officers be compensated on a Salary k~saie for the fiscal year of
1950. That the County Clerk be and is hereby directed to prepare a certified copy of this
order sad forward same to The Comptroller of Publio Aacounta o]' the State of Texas.
