This the 12th day of June, A. D. 1950, exme on to be considered by the Court the necessit}
of a special attorney to represent Kerr County for the right-of-way for State Highway No. 39,
as the Commissioners' Court have failed to enter into an agre®ment with N. H. Whitworth, et.al
on any settlement deemed suitable to the Commissioners' Court. Aad it appearing to the Court
that c~ondemna tion proceedings will have to be had in this event, and that Tim W. Weatherby
should be employed by Kerr County as a special attorney to proceed with this condemnation suit
Therefore by motion dulg ^sade by Henry Eckstein, seconded by Charles H. Molter, and unan-
imously approved by the Court that Sim W. Weatherby be employed ap to the time of trial for a
fee of X125.00 to represent the County in this condemnation proceedings against Id. H. 14hitwort

This the 12th day of June, A. D. 1950, came on to be considered by the Court the claim oŁ
William Hen tai, M. D., for post mortem examination performed on body of Ola Lucas, having been
authorized by Virgil Storms, Coroner. And it appearing to the Court that the Statutes au thoriz
a fee not to exceed $100.00 for such an examination, and that this court should reimb arse

Therefore by motion duly made by Eckstein, seconded by Powell, and unanimously approved by
the Court that X75.00 be paid to 1Villiam Hen tai, M. D. for the post mortem examination had on
the body oP Ola Lucas, and that the County Clerk be and is hereby authorized to draw youaher
against the County Treasurer in like amount drawn on the Gene ral Fund of the County.

This the 12th day of June, A. D. 1950, came on to be examined by the Court the various

other funds, nines the last term of the Court, end it appearing to the Court that the following
claims and accounts should be paid.
Therefore by motion duly made by Furr, seconded by Powell, and unanimously approved by
the Court that all claims and accounts filed against Road & Bridge Precinct No. 1 be paid as
approved; that all claims and accounts filed against Road & Bridge Precinct No. 2 be approved
for payment, after motion having been duly made by Idol to r, seconded by Furr, end unanimously
approved by the Court; that all claims and acco ants filed against Road & Bridge Precinct No. 3
be paid, after motion having been duly made by Eckstein, ae oonded by Furr, and unanimously ap-
