County Judge Joe BuiKlcett, Jr., ate~ted today that the
Cor~lagioners~ Court had investigated ~esd gone over the pro-
posed ~3tTDGST as prepared by County Clerk Lawrence Stephens
and himself, which budget seta up a tax rate for the County
at the rate of fifty cents (.5U) on the $100.00 valuation,
being an additional eight Dent (.08) reduction from the pre-
liminary eatim+~te and being a total reduction of twenty cents
(.2U) under last year and the tax for i;he year 1950 is com-
puted sa follows:

The public hearing on the »udget :has been get for the 28th
