ORDER OF COMMISSIONERS' COURT 1952-1953 FEDERAL..STATE FARM-TO-MARKET ROAD PROGRAM KERR COUNTY Special Meeting, November 20th, 1950. The Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, Texaa, met in Special Session, November 20th, A. D. 1950, at the Courthouse of Kerr County in the City of Kerrville, Texas, at 10:30 o'clock A. M. with the following members present, to wits Joe Burkett, Jr., County Judge Henry Eckstein, Commissioner oP Precinct No. 1 V. D. Powell, Commissioner of Precinct No, 2 Chas. H. Molter, Commiasiorier of Precinct No. 3 Commissioner of Precinct No. 4 Lawrence Stephens, County Clerk, and Ex-Officio Clerk of County Commissioners' Court When and where the following proceedings were had, to-wits Upon motion made by Commissioner Eckstein, duly seconded by Commissioner Powell, the following resolution was lntroduceds R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, It is deemed advisable and to the beat lntereat oP the County of Kerr and the citizens thereof, to request the State Highway Commission of the Scats of Texas, to designate, construct, and maintain, at the sole cost and expense of the State as a part of the designated System of Highways of Teaaa, under the 1952-1953 Federal-State Farm-to-Market Road Program, certain County r~ada: THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, request the Highway Commission of the State oP Texas to designate, construct, and maintain the following roads: 1. The road locally known as the Goat Creek road, extending from State Highway 27, 2 miles Weat of Kerrville, Northwesterly six miles. 2. Old State Highway 27, extending Prom Center Point Easterly to Junction with State Highway 27, a distance of 2.2 miles. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County of Kerr agrees to remove or abate any and all encroachments cr encumbrances on said roads or right-of-way, at the sole eapsnae of the County; and, further, agrees to obtain at its expense any n®w or additional right-of vay on location approved by the State Highway Engineer at any time that same aho:ild be nonaidered necessary or desirable to the proper maintenanc®, construction or reconstruction of Bald roads as a part of the State System; anc4, Further, agrees to do all neceeaary fencing required on these projects. Upon vote being taken, the Foregoing resolution wa8 passed, the members present voting, as follows: Henry Eckstein, V, D, Powell, Chas. H.
