& COLLECTOR.
This Lhe 10th day oP January, A. D, 1951, came on to be considered by the court, the
application of E. H. Nichols, Tea Asaeeaor & Collector of Kerr County, Texea, for an increase
of salary to his deputies ea may be referred to in his application for appointments of dep-
uties filed with this court on the tad day of January, end it appearing to the court that
said officer is referring to Article #3912g of the R.C.S. of the state of Texea, which article
provides that any deputy the Commissioners Court Peale justified to an increase in salary,
should be ordered by the Commissioners Court for en additional amount not Lo eaceed 35% oP the
sum allowed under the law for the Pia cal year 1948. Wherefore the court being oP the opinion
that the first end second depot Sea only, should be increased an additional amount of 2096
in salary for the ensuing year beginning January 31, 1951, and that the be lance of the deputies
salary for said office are to remain the acme.
