No. 5093. REVISION IN MANNER OF PAYMENT OF COUNTY TREASURER'S SALARY.
This the 13th day oP March, A. D. 1951, the attention hevittg been brought to the court
in regard to the payment of the salary of the County Treasurer on a commission basis, figured
against the various Panda of Kerr County, and it appearing to the court that said commissions
have been figured on a 2~r baste not to exceed $~2 ,000.00 a year, end that on said commission
basis, various postings ere required ageinat each fund, end whereby,iP figured on a straight
salary time and expense would be saved, and that in the des cr et: ion of the court, the salary
of the County 7'r eeaurer should be pe id out of the General Fund; therefore by motion duly made
by Eckstein, seconded by Powell end unanimously approved by the court that the County Clerk
draw vouche xs on the County Treasurer Sn monthly ins tallments of $166.66 beginning March 31,
1951 end each month thereafter pe ye ble to E. Gold, County Treasurer, end that his authority

No. 5094. AUTHORITY TO PURCHASE NEW AUTOMOBILE FOR SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT.
This the 13th day oP March, A. D. 1951, came on to be considered by the court the two bids
presented on various styles of Chevrolet end Ford automobiles for the purpose oP considering
the purchase of a new automobile for the Sh eriPP's Department of Kerr County. Wherefore the
court having considered the continued re pairs on the present 1947 Chevrolet automobile used ..-~
by the Sheriff's Depe rtment and its continued deprecie tion in value, feel it beneficial to "
Kerr County Lo purchase a new automobile at this time. After having considered the bid oP
Peterson Garage & Auto Company for a 1951 Chevrolet atyl aline deluge Pour door sedan, which
includes the heater end a defroster, lase a trade-in value on the 1947 Chevrolet four door
sedan of $gU0.00, the court is of .the opinion that avid automobile should be purchased by said
department. "

line deluge four door sedan priced at $1761.00, which includes a heater end defroster, leas a

used by sold Sheriff's Department, that the County Clerk be end Sa hereby directed to draw
voucher on the County Treasurer in the amount of X961.00 for the be lance purche ae price for
