It appearing to the court that at the present time Rerr County is assisting Sn the amount of $1800.00 per annum for its pro rata aalarq to the County Agricultural Agent and 31300.00 par annum for Sts pro rata salary to the County Aome Demonstration Agent, and that said amounts should be recommended for the ensuing year of 1952, for the said respective agents; that the Commiealoners Court is Sn full acknow- ledgment of the outstanding service performed by Gny Powell Sn the performance of his duties, as set out in the letter of B. F. Bredthauer, Secretary and Treasurer of Texas County Agr1e- ultural Agents Association, Refugio, Texan, bearing date September 6, 1951, raqueating the County to recognise him for the highest award given an agent Sn the United States and to allow him to take a trip to the National Agents Association's annual meeting Sn Memphis, Tennessee for presentation, which begins on October 27, which in the discretion aP the Court, should be granted, and that a letter of recognition be walled to Mr. Powell for his outstanding services performed for Kerr County as County Agricultural Agent. Therefore, by motion dnly made by Eckateln, seconded by Molter, and unanimously approved by the court; that the pro rata salary paid by Kerr County to the County Agricultural Agent and County Nome Demonstration Agent De recommended for the ensuing year 1952, as 31800.00 and 31300.00 par annum, respectively; that a letter of recognition 'be mailed to Guy Powell, County Agent, Por his outstanding performances as County Agent of Kerr County. -o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o- No. 5301. PURCHASE OF TWO ACRES FROM F. W. WITT+1.13 ACRES TO BE USED FOR RIGHT OF WAY KERRVILLE - INGRAM HIGHWAY 1127. Thin the 11th day of September, A. D. 1951 came on to be considered by the court, the purchase of a two acre tract of land belonging to F. W. Witt, fronting on the Rerrville- Ingram State Highway x/27. ~erefore, the court acknowledges the fact that 1.13 acres are --. to be used for right of way purposes and that .87 of an acre will be in ezeesa and xould be advantageous to the County to purehaae the total two aerea at a price of ;3,500.00; that Mr. Witt is willing to 2lirniah esparate deeds on the aforesaid acreage together with an abstract showing a merchantable title thereto; and that the court is of the opinion that the .87 of an acre tract may be sold by the court for an amount wl thin the close figure of the total coat of the two aerea purchased by the court and that such transaction should be made. Therefore by motion duly made by Eckstein, seconded by Goff and unanimously approved by the court that the County Judge be, and is hereby authorized to consummate such purchase at a price of 33,500.00 payable to Mr. F. W.
