No. 5303. COMMI33I ONEAS PRECINCT Asa AUTHORIZED TO LEASE MOTOR GRADER.
This the 11th daq of September, A. D. 1951, came on to be considered by the court, the
application of Chas. H. Molter, Commissioner Precinct Asa, to lease from H. W. Lewis Equipment
Company, one new Allis Chalmers Model BD-3 Motor Grader, Serial As1164, Motor As3A-7924 at
$11,374.80 less a tradain on one used Caterpillar 10 Motor Grader at $1500.00, leaving an
aggregate of $9,874.80; and it appearing to the court that Mr. Noltsr has been using the
aforesaid equipment for a short period of time and is desirous of leasing same for a period
l of two years, which the court thinks advisable. Therefore by motion duly made by Eckstein,
seconded bq Goff, and approved by the majority of the court, with Commissioner Powell voting
against such proposition, that Commissioner of Precinct Asa be and is hereby authorized to leas
Por a period of two years the aforementioned maehinerq payable to the H. W. Lewis Equipment
Company in semi-annual installments out of Road Ec Bridge #3, on the balance ooat in the amount
of $9,874.80, after the tradain of the old machine for the amount of $1500.00.
