Thls the 8th day of October, A. D. 1951, came on to be considered by the court, the re-
quest of Jno. R. Leavell, County Judge, to confirm the seven days leave that he had taken for
hospitalization during the period from September 26, 1951 to October 3, 1951.
Wherefore, the court having been notified of his intention subsequent to the leave taken
and the court at that time felt it unnecessary to enter an order, and at the request of the
County Judge at this time, the Court feels that an order of confirmation should be entered.
Therefore by motion duly made by Goff, seconded by Eckstein and unanimously approved by
the court that the seven days leave taken by the County Judge for hospitalization Trom Sept-

and it appearing to the court after thorough examination, that same should be approved as veri
fied by the County Superintendent, Jno. R. Leavellq therefore by motion duly made by Powell,

County Superintendents and that the County Clerk be and is hereby directed to forward a copy

of Capcellation IP+7, issued by E. H. Nichols, Tax Assessor & Collector of Kerr County, for
delinquent taxes erroneously carded on a 1/4 acre tract out of Survey 111, Samuel Wallace
assessed in the name of Emma LeBlanc since }932, as having improvements thereon.
~ Wherefore, the court having been informed that since the flood of 1932, there has been
no improvements erected on said propertyq that such taws have been erroneously assessed by
the Assessor, and that all County and State taxes carried delinquent in excess of the normal
value of the aforesaid property should be cancelled. Therefore by motion duly made by Eckst~
seconded by Goff and unanimously approved by the court that Certificate No. 4~, in Savor of
Emma LeBlanc covering excess taxes, having been carried delinquent since 1932 on 1/~+ of an

EXCESS FEES OF OFFICE.
This the 9th day of October, A. D. 1951, came on to be considered by the court, the
application of James E. Nugent, County Attorney of Kerr County., Texas, for reimbursement on
an over payment to the County of fees of office in the amount of $50.50. Wherefore, the cour
having considered that the County Attorney is charged for the 1"ees collected by Ira L. Pringl
Justice of the Peace, Precinct #2, Kerr County, for cases handled in that court and that Mr.
Nugent had not actually received such funds and he has overpaid the court the sum of $50.50
of which he is entitled thereto.
Therefore by motion duly made by Eckstein, seconded Dy Mollter, and unanimously approved ~ 1
by the court, that the County Clerk be and is hereby directed to draw voucher against the '
County Treasurer payable to James E. Nugent, County Attorney in the amount of $50.50 to take
care of the over-payment made by Mr. Nugent for fees of his of1.'ice. That Ira L. Pringle,
Justice of the Peace, Precinct #2, be and is hereby directed to deposit the sum of $18.50 wi

Fund FM 1340, bearing date November 14, 195G; wherefore the court having been informed that
the materials previously billed in the amount of $130.75 secured from T. J. Moore Lumber Yard

necessary to cancel the aforesaid Check #11160.

This the 9th day of October, A. D. 1951, came on to be examined by the court, the cert-
ificate of cancellation #18 issued by E. H. Nichols, Tax Colleetca• & Assessor of Kerr County,
Texas as represented on Form #18, Page 13, as an error in assessment for 1949 taxes; where-
fore the court was informed that the aforesaid taxes assessed in error to H. H. ~resnall were
actually paid under Receipt #+583 for the County azid State taxes for said year and that such
certificate of cancellation should be approved; therefore by motion duly made by Powell, ~
seconded by Molter and unanimously approved by the court, that duplicate 1949 taxes of H. H.
Presna ll as represented on Form #18, Page 13 for the year 1949 covering State and County taxe
should be cancelled.
