and County Tax Rolls for the year 1951, prepared by E.. H. Nichols, Tax Assessor and Collector
of Kerr County, and it appearing to the court that said rolls were found to be correct and in
proper form and certified and approved by the court a.s shown by the court's certificate of
approval attached thereto and duly signed by all memt~ers of the court in tripllcateq there-
fore by motion duly made by Powell, seconded by Goff and unanimously approved by the court,

cation of E. H. Nichols, Tax Assessor & Collector of Kerr County, for the balance of $663.62
due his office out of the original $2,163.62 for the 1951 tax assessing commissions, and it
appearing to the court that previous amounts have been drawn on the General Fund, Jury Fund,
and the Road & Bridge Fund, as listed below and that the following credit and balances and
transfers should be made.

FUND.
This the 9th day of October, A. D. 1951, came on to be considered by the court, $6,000.00
Houston County, Texas, 4~ Consolidated Road District #2, Honds, Series "0", bearing date Oct-
ober 10, 1940, which have been called for redemption as of October 10, 1951, and it appearing
to the court that the County Superintendent should be authorized to proceed to re-invest such
funds in some sureties that may meet the approval of the County and that the aforesaid bonds
should be redeemed.
Therefore by motion duly made by Eckstein, seconded by Goff and unanimously approved by
the court, that the County Superintendent be and is hereby authorized to proceed to re-invest
such funds Sn some sureties that may meat the approval of the Court and that the aforesaid
bonds be redeemed Sn accordance therewith.

No. 5330. ALLOWANCE OIL' $100.00 TO COUNTY AGENT, ONE HALF OF EXPENSE FOR TRIP TO MEMPHIS,
TENNESSEE.
This the 9th day of October, A. D. 1951, came on to be considered by the court, the
application of Adam Wilson and Guy Powell for a part of the expenses that may be incurred by
County Agent, Guy Powell, to attend the National Convention at Memphis, Tennesseeq and it ap-
pearing to the Court that distinguished service has been awarded Guy Powell, Covnty Agent of
Kerr County, Texas, and that his presence to the National Convention should be made atti that
they are informed that the expenses to attend this convention would be approximately $200.00
and that in their discretion, Kerr County should authorize $100.00 payable to Guy Powell,
County Agent.
Therefore by motion duly made by Molter, seconded by Eckstein and unanimously approved
by the court that the County Clerk be and is hereby directed to draw voucher against the Covnt
Treasurer in the sum of $100.00 payable out of the General Fund to Guy Powell, County Agent, to
cover one half of the expense of his trip to Memphis, Tennessee.

This the 9th day of October, A. D. 1951, came on to be considered by the Covrt, the
claims and accounts filed against Kerr County since October 8, 1951, and it appearing to the
court that said claims and accounts should be paid; Therefore by motl on duly made by Ecks tein~
seconded by Molter and unanimously approved by the Court for payment, and the County Clerk be
and is hereby directed to draw vouchers against the County Treasurer in like amounts on the
respective funds of Kerr County, in accordance with the bills filed.
