AGREEMENT FOR FINAL SETTLEMENT FOR 0.063 ACRE ALONG HIGHWAY #27. This the 15th day of February, A. D. 1952, came on to be considered by the court, the desire of August G. Nagel and Anthony F. Forvilly to enter settlement with Kerr County for the new right of way being conveyed to the State of Texas; wherefore the court is of the opinion they should agree to make settlement with the aforesaid parties for the sum of .~450.~+0 provid- ing the aforesaid parties will convey 0.63 of an acre to the State of Texas, move their fence and shrubbery and relieve Kerr County from any and all damages and liabilities that have ac- ,.., trued or may accrue therefrom; therefore by motion duly made by Powell, seconded by Goff and unanimously approved by the court that the County Clerk be and is hereby directed to draw vou- cher against the County Treasurer in amount of ~450.~+0 to August G. IN RE: ADPLICATION BY NED B. ESTES AND SEVENTY OTHERS FOR COUNTY ROAD FROM HIGHWAY #27 TO F.M. #1340. This the 15th day of February, A. D. 1952, came on to be presented to th.e court an appli- cation by Ned B. Estes and seventy others requesting the Commissioners Court to build a County road from Highway #27 to F.M. #1340, the court having considered said application feels that an investigation should be made and that Commissioner of Precinct ~+, shoul3 be authorized to .-.. i make such investigation and report to this court as to a route for a County road beginning either from Highway #27 or from Highway #41 to extend through and to connect with F.M. #1340; therefore by motion duly made by Powell, seconded by Molter and unanimously approved by the court that Commission of Precinct #4 be authorized to make an investigation and report to this lU court as to his findings, for a proposed route for a County road to begin either from F.[ighway #27 or from Highway #41 to extend through and connect with F. M. #1340. -o-o-o-o-o- No. 5516. RESOLUTION FOR RESPECT TO HENRY ECKSTEIN. This the 15th day of February, A. D. 1952, after motion having been duly made by Goff, seconded by Molter and unanimously approved by the court that a resolution be made and present- ed to Mr. Henry Eckstein, Commissioner of Precinct #l, for their sympathy and regret of the loss of his wife. -o-o-o-o-o- No. 5517. SETTING RATES FOR ASSESSMENTS FOR 1952. This the 15th day of February, A. D. 1952, came on to be considered by the court, the re- quest of E. H. Nichols, Tax Assessor & Collector, Kerr County, Texas, for the Court to set the rates for livestock, cultivated and grazing land. It appearing to the court that the previous assessment fixed are as follows to-wit: $20.00 per head for cattle; $3.00 per head on sheep; $2.00 per head on goats; and $15.00 an acre on cultivated land and $3.00 to $5.00 per acre on grazing land; and that in their dis- ._, cretion these rates should be refixed for the year 1952; therefore by motion duly made by Powell, seconded by Molter and unanimously approved by the court that the Tax Assessor & Coll- ector be and is hereby directed to assess livestock and land as follows, to-wit: Cattle $20.00 per head; Sheep $3.00 per head; Goats $2.00 per head, cultivated land $15.00 per acre and grazing land $3.00 to $5.00 per acre. -o-o-o-o-o- No. 5518. APPROVAT OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS. This the 15th day of February, A. D. 1952, after motion duly made by Molter, seconded by Powell and unanimously approved by the court, all claims and accounts filed against Kerr County and its respective precincts .since the last term of this court, be approved for payment. -o-o-o-o-o- No. 5519. APPROVAL FOR THE PAYMENT OF INCIDENTAL EXPENSE TO KERRVILLE NATIONAL GUARD. This the 15th day of February, A. D. 1952, came on to be presented to the court by Clovis ^-~ McDonald, officer of the Kerrville National Guard for any assistance that Kerr County might like to make to said organization. It appearing to the court that the unit of the National Guard is of great assistance to Kerr County as a whole and in their discretion they should be allowed the sum of $10.00 per month for incidental expenses; therefore by motion duly made by Molter, seconded by Goff, and unanimously approved by the court that the County Clerk be and is hereby directed to draw voucher against the County Treasurer in amount of $10.00 per month payable to the Kerrville National Guard in monthly payments of $10.00 each, beginning ern the last day of February, 1952 and each month thereafter until further determined by this court. Said voucher to be drawn on the General Fund of Kerr County. -o-o-o-o-o-o- No. 5520. PAYN'ENT OF SPECIAL COMMISSIONERS IN RE: AUGUST G. NAGEL,ET AL AND H. J. ANTOINE, ET UX, CONDEMNATION.
