Basic Mdnfmum Fee ~~ Parties further agree to the following conditions look 1. The Engineer's Services - The Engineer's professional services consist oP the necessary , the preparation of preliminary es timatas and preliminary reports, complete detail= d plans and specifications and detailed estimates of costs, general supervision of construct- or, including lines and grades surveys, preparation of monthly and final estimates for c:ont- actor's payments. The schedule of fees does not include property, boundary or right-of-way urveys, shop, mill or laboratory inspection of materials, cost of test borings and other sub- explorations, or calculation of special assessments. These latter services shall be ished by the Owner or, at the Ow4er's choice, may be provided by the Engineer at actual c "General Supervision" is defined as supervision of the construction by periodic visits by the Engineer or his representative from the office of the Engineer. "Resident Engineer" is defined as the representative of tDe Engineer who has responsible C charge of the construction work and spends a substantial part of time on the work. When authorized by the Owner, the Engineer shall furnish all necessary resident supex~vlsion ~,~but the Owner shall pay, in addition to the basic minimum fees, the actual payroll cost and pay roll taxes of such resident supervision as may be required. Should the Engineer be required to render additional service because of changes beyond his ~, ~Icontrol, then the Engineer shall be compensated for such additional services on a basis t.o be '~. ~~mutually agreed upon between the Engineer and the Owner. ~~' ~~ The Basic Fee includes the furnishing of eight (8) copies of reports, plans and speciflc- '~iations (on paper). I i Definition of Cost of the Work - The cost of the work, as herein referred to, means the cost to the Owner, but such cost Shall not include any Engineers' or Special Consultants' fees ~'~or reimbursements or the cost of a Resident Engineer. This the 11th day of Maroh~ A. D. 1952, came on to be presented to the court, Four agree- ments of identical specifications listed as follows: SPECIFICATIONS Thes9specifications are intended to cover the interior paintings varnishing cleaning of the walls ceilings & woodwork of the Kerr County Court House, Kerrville, Texas. 1. The new plaster spots on walls and ceilings are to receive one (1) coat pigmented wall size and one (1) coat of flat wall paint color to be as near to present color as possible. 2. The water stains caused by the roof leaks are to be treated 5o as not to come through finish coat of paint. 3. After the above preliminary work is complete and all walls and ceilings have been cleaned of any dirty or ecaly places the entire walla and ceilings are to receive a varnish size. After the size coat 1s thoroughly dry, apply one (1) coat of flat wall on all ceiling it areas and one (1) coat to consist of equal parts of enamel undercoat and semi-gloss enamel it to all wall ergs:. i 4. The varnished woodwork is to be thoroughly sanded and scraped where necessary and to be '~, cleaned before revarnishing. The window sills and sash are to receive two (2) coats of var- nish. The doors and other trim are to be touched-up and to receive one (1) coat of varnish. 5. Steam heat radiators are to be sanded or wire-brushed to remove scaly paint. Bare spoi to be painted with one (1) coat of aluminum then to receive two (2) coats of paint as per the respective wall color. 6. The wainscoat in corridor and stairwell to be spot coated and to receive one (1) coat of semi-gloss enamel. There is to be a 1 1/2" stripe placed between the wainscoat and wall this stripe to be true and straight and uniform in size. 7. All colors are to be similar but not the same as present color.
