manta of identical specifications listed as follows:
SPECIFICATIONS
The ~ specifications are intended to cover the interior painting, varnishing, craning of
the wills, ceilings 'c woodwork of the ;err County Court :Iouse, r:errville, Texas.
1. The new plaster spots on wa17s and ceilings are to rec%~ive one (1) c-~st pigmented. wall
size and one (1) coat cf flat wall paint color to be as nezr to present color as possible.
?. The ,.cater stains caused by the roof leaks are to be treated so as not to coma through
finish coat of paint.
3. After the above preliminary work is complete and all walls and ceilings h•~ve been
cleaned of an!r dirty or scaly places, the entire :calls and ce:ilin~~s are to receive a varnish
size. After the size coat is thoroughly drv, apply one (1) coat of flat wall on all coiling
areas and one (1) coat to consist of ecual part:, of enamel undercoat and semi-gloss enamel ~~
to all,call area..
4. The varnished woodwork is to be thoroughly sanded and scraped where necessary and to be
cleaned before revarnishing. The windotc sills and sash are to receive two (2) coats of var-
nish. 'The doors and other trim are to be tnuched-up and to receive one (1) coat of varnish.
5. 6team heat radiators are to be sanded or wire-brushed to remove scaly paint. Bare spots
to be painted with one (1) coat of aluminum then to receive two (2) coats of paint as nar the
respective wall color.
6. The wainscoat in corridor and stairwell to be spot coated and to receive one (1) coat
of semi-gloss enamel. `There is to be a 1 1/2" stripe placed between the wainscoat and wall,
this stripe to be true and straight and uniform in. size.
7. All colors are to be similar but not the same as present color. All colors to be se-
lected by the owners.
8. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

3. The contractor must maintain such insurance as will protect him and the o'srners from
claims under Workmen's Compensation Acts and from an;; other claims for damages for personal
injury, including death, which may arise from operat9_ons under this contract. Certificates
of such insurance shall be filed with the owner and shall be subject to his arnroval for ade-
quacy of protection.
4. The contractor shall stbmit two (21 separate bias in bidding this job.
Bid A. To include all the rooms on first floor including the corri3or and stairs and stair
hall on second floor.
Bid B. All rooms on second floor including the back stairs from first floor to jail,
but not to include the jail.
