COUNTY JUDGE AUTHORIZED TO ENTER ORDER OF CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS N0. 379, IN THE COUNTY COURT. This the 14th day of April, A. D. 1952, came on to be considered by the court, the re- ouest of John R. Leavell, County Judge, to enter an order or confirm the acticns of the special commissioners authorized in Cause #379, entitled "State of Texas vs. J. P. Swayze, et u~c" and to award said defendant the damages of X504.00, and it appearing to the court that such condem- nation secured 0.151 of an acre of land more or less for right of way purposes, and that: the special commissioners awarded said defendant $504,00 with the cost of court to be paid out of Kerr County Road & Bridge Precinct #1, including the cost of the special commissioners therein; therefore by motion duly made by Goff, seconded by Eckstein and unanimously approved by the court that the County Judge be and is here authorized to enter an order as County Judge in Cause #379, entitled "The State of Texas vs. J. P. Swayze and wife," and to give said defendants the sum of $504.00 for the 0.151 of an acre to be used for right of way purposes, and that the County Clerk be and hereby is directed to issued voucher in like amount payable to said defendants and that the bill of cost be prepared and chargeable against Road & Bridge Precinct #1, Kerr County, Texas, to cover the damage, special commissioners fee and all other costs incurred herein, -o-o-o-o-o-o- No. 5601. TRANSFERS. This the 16th day of April, 4. D. 1952, after motion having been duly made by Eckstein, seconded by Goff and unanimously approved by the court, that the following amounts be transferred to the various funds: 1. X397.34 from Road & Bridge Fund to Road & Bridge Right of Way Fund Hwy. #39, to cover deficit in said fund; 2. X658.88 from Road & Bridge Right of Way Fund FM #k1340 to Road & Bridge Fund for an excess in said fund. 3. X1181,89 from Road & Bridge Right of Way Fund FM #1341 to Road & Bridge Fund, for an excess in said fund; that said funds be declared closed on the financial ledger of the court. ^ that thA County Clerk be directed to transfer same. -o-o-o-o-o-o- No. 5602. TRANSFER OF X4499.87. This the 16th day of April, A. D. 1952, after motion having been duly made by Eckstein, :~7 seconded by Goff and unanimously approved by the Court, that X4499.87 be transferred to Kerr County Permanent Improvement Fund from Kerr County Air Port Maintenance Fund. r-~ _0.0.0.0_ No. 5603. PAYMENT OF $4499.87 TO CITY OF KERRVILLE FOR AIRPORT MAINTENANCE. This the 16th day of April, A, n. 1952, came on to be considered by the court, the balance of $4499.87 being due Kerr County Improvement Fund which was assessed, levied and collected for Kerr County's one-half share of the maintenace on the City-County Airport run-ways, and it appearing to the court that said balance of X4499.87 should be payable at this time to the City of Kerrville for Kerr County's share of maintenance heretofore performed. by the City of Kerrville; therefore by motion duly made by Eckstein, seconded by Powell and unanimously ap- proved by the court that the County Clerk be and is hereby directed to draw voucher against Kerr County Improvement Fund in amount of .4499.87 to apply on Kerr County's share for the maintenance to the City-County Airport. -o-o-o-o- No. 5604. LOUISE HAYS' PARK COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF KERRVILLE PROMISED THE SUM OF X1,000.00 FOR DAM CONSTRUCTION. This the 16th day of April, A. D. 1952, came on to be considered by the court the erect- ion of a dam and the evacuation of gravel and other material from and surrounding the bed of the Guadalupe River below the Blue Bonnet Hotel in the City of Kerrville, Texas, being a pro- ject of the Louise Hays' Park Committee of the City of Kerrville; w herefore the court having feel considered the project an important step to the community and Kerr County as a whole,/that this court should allow and expend the sum of '61,000.00 from some fund, that the County may be legally authorized to expend same from, therefore by motion duly made by Eckstein, second- ed by Goff and unanimously approved by the court, that the County Judge be authorized to send a letter to R. R. Tarr, Chairman of the Louise Hays' Park Committee of the City of Kerrville, expressing the desire of this court, that they are willing to spend the sum of '61,000.00 from some fund that the county may be legally authorized to expend same from. -o-o-o-o- No. 5605. PAYMENT OF CLAIM OF H. E. B. FOOD STORE. r-. This the 16th day of April, A. D. 1952, came on to be considered by the court the claim of H. E. B. Food Store in the amount of X10.00 for groceries for I. D. Barton, and it appear- ing that said claim should be approved; therefore b,y motion duly made by Powell, seconded by Eckstein and unanimously approved by the court that the County Clerk be directed to issue vou- cher in the amount of X10.00 payable to H. E. B. Food Store, payable out oŁ the General Fund of Kerr County. -o-o-o-o- No. 5606. COMMISSIONER PRECINCT #4 AUTHORIZED TO RE-SET FENCE ALONG HWY. #27 ALONG ERNEST LOVE PROPERTY. This the 16th day of April, A. D. 1952, came on to be considered by the court, the request of Lee Goff, Commissioner of Precinct #4, Kerr County, Texas, requesting that he be authorized to re-set the fence along Highway #27, along property of Ernest Love, as he understands that said fence should have been re-set at the time the Highway was under construction. It appearing to the court that Mr. Goff should be authorized to perform some labor and that same should be .- chargeable against the Foad & Bridge Fund of Kerr County; therefore by motion duly made by Eckstein, seconded by Powell and unanimously approved by the court that Commissioner Goff be authorized to re-set the fence of Mr. Ernest Love along the line now re-located along Hwy. #27 and that the expense should be chargeable against the Road & Bridge Fund of Kerr County. -o-o-o-o-o-
