thly report and tax receipts of E. H. Nichols, Tex Assessor & Collector, for the month of April,
1952, showing the disposition of all monies owed to the State and County collected by him during
said month, with a certificate of audit by the County Clerk as to his examination of said re-
port and stubs and as to the correctness as to names, dates and amounts on each, and it appear-
ing to the court that said report together with tax receipt stubs, filed herein, are correct;

No. 5638. COMMISSIONER OF PRECINCT #2 AUTHORIZED TO PAVE SHOULDERS, BUILD CURBING AND ERECT
SIDEWALKS ALONG RESIDENTAL SECTION ON F M 1350.
This the 19th day of May, A. D. 1952, came on to be considered by the court, the proposed
plan between Commissioner of Precinct ~2 and the State Highway Department to pave the shoulders,
build curbing and erect sidewalks along the residental section along FM #1350 in Center Point,
Texas, from the intersection of the Camp Verde Road and FM #1350 through the residental sect-
ion along the said FM #1350, and it appearing to the court that such proposed plan is estimated
to cost Kerr County approximately ,4,000.00 and that said precinct should be authorized to ex-
pend such amount for said project. Therefore by motion duly made by Eckstein, seconded by Mol-
ter and unanimously approved by the court that Commissioner Powell of Precinct #2 be and is
hereby authorized to work in conjunction with the State Highway nepartment along FM #135 to

pave the shoulders, build curbing and sidewalks along such proposed route.

I No. 5639. APPROVAL OF CLAIM OF NOAH KNOX FOR THE FENCING OF ERNEST LOVE PROPERTY ALONG HIGHWAY
#27 ABOVE MOUNTAIN HOME.
This the 19th day of May, ~. D. 1952, came on to be presented to the court the claim of
Noah Knox in the amount of X450.00 for the erection of a fence along the Ernest Love property
line and Highway #27 above Mountain Home, and it appearing to the court that said claim is
reasonable and just and should be allowed for payment. Therefore by motion duly made by Goff,
seconded by Powell and unanimously approved by the court that the county Clerk draw voucher
against the Road & Bridge Fund payable to Noah Knox in the amount of ?450.00

No. 5640. IN RE: PRELIMINARY REPORT OF GEORGE L. DANL.
This the 19th day of May, A. D. 1952, came on to be considered by the court the prelimin-
ary report made by George L, Dahl, an engineer employed by the County in regard to dam sites
on the Guadalupe River, and it appearing to the court that the County Judge should be authoriz-
ed to write a letter to Mr. Dahl with reference to the proposed sites before approving the
preliminary report now on file. Therefore by motion duly made by Goff, seconded by Eckstein
and unanimously approved by the court that the County Judge be authorized to confer by letter
with Mr. Dahl in regard to the proposed dam sites before this court approves the report on file.

No. 5641. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF LETTER FROM, ERNEST LOVE IN RECOGNITION OF FENCE ERECTED BY KERR
COUNTY.
This the 19th day of May, A. D. 1952, came on to be considered by the court, the letter of
recognition by Ernest B. Love releasing the County of any further liability on fencing contract
along this property on Highway #27 above Mountain Home, and it appearing to the court that such
letter should be accepted. Therefore by motion duly made by Eckstein, seconded by Goff and
unanimously approved by the court that the County recognize the completion of fencing as per
letter of Ernest B. Love on his acceptance thereof.
