This the 9th day of June, A. D. 1952, after motion having been duly made by Powell, second-
ed by Molter and unanimously approved by the court, that the minutes of the Commissioners Court
for the month of May, be approved as read.

No. 5649. ORDER AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF SCHOOLHOUSE BONDS
THE STATE OF TEXAS:
INGRAM COMMON SCHOOL DISTRICT N0. 2.
COUNTY OF KERR
On this the 9th day of June, 1952, the Coamiissioners' Court of Kerr County, Texas, con-
versed in regular session at a regular Term thereof, with the following members present, towit:

and, among other proceedings had, passed the following order:
WHEREAS, at an election held for that purpose on the 26tk day of April, 1952, a majority
of the qualified property taxpaying voters of Ingram Common School District No, 2, of Kerr
County, Texas, having at said election voted in favor of the bonds hereinafter described and
the tax hereinafter levied;
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED BY THE COMMISSIONERS' COURT of Kerr County, Texas:
I.
That the bonds of said District, to be called "INGRAM COMMON SCHOOL DISTRICT N0. 2 SCHOOL-
HOU5E BONDS, SERIES OF 1952", be issued on the faith and credit of said Ingram Common School
District No. 2 of Kerr County, Texas, for the purpose of the construction and equipment of a
public free school building of other than wood material within the limits of said District.
II.
That said bonds shall be numbered consecutively from 1 to 42, inclusive; That Bonds Num-
bets 1 to 10, inclusive, shall be of the denomination of Five Hundred 0500.00) Dollars each
and Bonds Numbers 11 to 42, inclusive, shall be of the denomination of One Thousand ($1,000.00)
Dollars each, aggregating Thirty-seven Thousand ($37,000.00) Dollars. That said bonds shall b®

with Bonds Numbers 21 to 42, inclusive, optional on June 1, 1972, or on any interest payment
date thereafter, at par and accrued interest.
III.
That Bonds Numbers 1 to 10, inclusive, shall bear interest from date until paid at the
rate of three and one-fourths (3-1/4~) per cent per annum and Bonds Numbers 11 to 42, inclusive,
shall bear interest from date until paid at the rate of three and one-half (3-1/2~) per cent
per annum; interest shall be payable June 1, 1953, and semi-annually thereafter on December 1st
and June 1st in each year; principal and interest shall be payable in lawful money of the United
States of America upon presentation and surrender of bonds or proper coupons at the Chas Schre-
iner Bank, Kerrville, Texas.
IV.
That said bonds shall be signed by the County Judge, countersigned by the County Clerk,
and registered by the County Treasurer of Kerr County, Texas, and the seal of the Commissioners'
Court shall be impressed upon each of them; that the facsimile signatures of the County Judge
and County Clerk may be printed, engraved or lithographed upon the interest coupons.
V.
That the form of each of said bonds shall be substantially as follows:

THIS IS TO CERTIFY that the County of Kerr, in the State of Texas, for and on behalf of
Ingram Common School District No. 2 of said County, hereby promises to pay to bearer on the 1st
day of June,19_, the sum of Dollars (~_), in lawful money of the United States of
America, together with interest thereon from date hereof at the rate of (_~) per cent
per annum, payable June 1, 1953, and semi-annually thereafter on December 1st and June ].st in
each year, principal and interest payable upon presentation and surrender of bond or praper
coupon at the Chas. Schreiner Bank, Kerrville, Texas.
This bond is one of a series of 42 bonds, numbered consecutively from 1 to 42, inclusive;
Bonds Numbers 1 to 10, inclusive, of the denomination of Five Hundred (:$500.00) Dollars each
and Bonds Numbers 11 to 42, inclusive, of the denomination of One Thousand 01,000.00) Dollars
each, aggregating Thirty-seven Thousand ($37,000.00) Dollars, issued by the Commissioners'
Court of Kerr County on the faith and credit of Ingram Common School District No. 2 of said
County, for the purpose of the construction and equipment of a public free school building of
other than wood material within the limits of said District, under and by virtue of Chapter 13,
Title 48, Revised Statutes, 1925, as amended, and the Constitution and Laws of the State of
Texas, and in pursuance of an order passed by the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, Texas,

which order is of record in the Minutes of said Court.
The date of this bond, in conformity with the order above mentioned, is the 1st day of

Ingram Common School District No. 2 has and hereby reserves the right to redeem this bond
on June 1, 1972, or on any interest payment date thereafter, by paying principal and accrued
interest thereon, and in case the same shall be called in for redemption before maturity, not-
ice thereof in writing shall be given by the President o£ the Board of District Trustees of
Ingram Common School District No. 2 to the Chas. Schreiner Bank, Kerrville, Texas, at least
thirty (30) days before the date fixed for redemption, and should this bond not be presented
for redemption, the 'same shall cease to bear interest from and after the date so fixed for re-
demption.

IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED AND DECL4RED that the issuance of this bond, and the series of which
it is a part, is duly authorized by law and by a vote of the qualified property taxpaying voters
of Ingram Common School District No. 2, voting at an election held for that purpose within said
^ District on 9pri1 26, 1952; that all acts, conditions and things required to be done precedent
to and in the issuance of this series of bonds, and of this bond, have been properly done and
performed and have happened in regular and due time, form and manner, as required by law; that
sufficient and proper provision for the levy and collection of taxes has been made which, when
collected, shall be appropriated exclusively to the payment of this bond, and of the series of
which it is a part, and to the payment of the interest coupons hereto annexed as the same shall
become due; and that the total indebtedness of said Ingram Common School District No. 2, includ-
ing the entire series of bonds of which this is one, does not exceed any constitutional or stat-
utory limitation.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, said Commissioners' Court of Kerr County has caused the seal of
said court to be hereto affixed and this bond to be signed by the County Judge, countersigned
by the County Clerk, and registered by the County Treasurer, as of the 1st day of June, 1952.

VIII.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that while said bonds, or any of them, are outstanding and unpaid,
there shall be annually levied, assessed and collected, in due time, form and manner, a tax
upon all the taxable property in said Ingram Common School District No. 2, sufficient to pay
the current interest thereon and create a sinking fund sufficient to pay each installment of
the principal as the same becomes due, and to pay the interest on said bonds for the first
year and to create a sinking fund with which to pay the principal as the same becomes due,
there is hereby levied a tax of sixteen (16¢) cents on each $100,00 valuation of taxable prop-
erty in said District for the year 1952, and the same shall be assessed and collected and ap-
plied to the purpose named; and while said bonds, or any of them, are outstanding and unpaid,
a tax for each year at a rate from year to year, as will be ample and sufficient to provide funds
to pay the current interest on said bonds and to provide funds to pay the principal as the
same becomes due, full allowance being made for delinquencies and costs of collection, shall
be, and is hereby levied for each year, respectively, while said bonds, or any of them, are
outstanding and unpaid, and said tax shall each year be assessed and collected and applied to
the payment of the interest on, and principal of, said bonds.
THE ABOVE ORDER being read, it was moved and seconded that same do pass. Thereupon, the

No. 5650. APPROVAL OF CLAIM IN AMOUNT OF X364.25 FOR PAINTING BASEMENT OF THE COURT HOUSE.
This the 9th day of June, A. D. 1952, came on to be presented by the court the claim of
H. L. Storey in the amount of $364.25 for the painting of the basement of the court house.
It appearing to the court that proper inspection has been made and such payment is in full
satisfaction of the court and should be approved in like amount. Therefore by motion duly made
by Molter, seconded by Eckstein and unanimously approved by the court, that the County Clerk
be hereby ordered to draw voucher in amount of $364,25 payable to H. L. Storey out of the Kerr
County Permanent Improvement Fund to cover the painting of the basement of the courthouse.
