MOLTER, Commissioner Precinct No. 3~ LEE GOFF, Commissioner Precinct No. 4, LAWRENCE STEPHENS, County Clerk, being present, and the following absent: None, constituting a quorum, and, among other proc- eedings, passed the following order: There came on to be considered the returns of an election held on the 7th day of July, 1952, at the Ingram Schoolhouse Building, in Ingram Common School District No. 2, of Kerr Cou- nty, Texas, on the following proposition: PROPOSITION Shall the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, Texas, be authorized to levy ~ d collect annually a tax upon all taxable property in Ingram Common School District No. 2, of Kerr Cou- nty, Texas, of and at the rate of not exceeding X1.00 on the X100.00 valuation of taxable property of said District, for the further maintenance of public free schools and the erect- ion of school buildings within said School District until the same shall be discontin~ied as provided by law; provided, the maintenance tax and the bond tax together shall never exceed for any one year $1.00 on the '100.00 valuation of said property. AND IT APPEARING that said election was in all respects legally held and that said re- turns were duly and legally made and there were cast at said election 86 valid and legal votes, of which number there were cast: "FOR SCHOOL TAX" ......................58 VOTES. ~ "AGAINST SCHOOL TAX" ..................28 VOTES. AND IT APPEARING to the Court from said returns that a majority of the qualified resident property taxpaying voters of said District, who owned taxable property in said District and who had duly rendered the same for taxation, voting at said election voted in favor of said School Tax, the Court does hereby declare the proposition to have been adopted, and that this Court 'L~ is authorized to levy and to have assessed and collected said school tax.
