No. 5688. APPROVAL OF MONTHLY EXPENSE REPORT OF COUNTY JUDGE.
This the 16th day of July, A. D. 1952, came on to be examined, the monthly report of Jno.
?. Leavell, County Judge, of Kerr County, Texas for the month of June, 1952, showing an actual
and necessary expense of X3,16 incurred by him in the conduct of his office during said month,
and it appearing to the court that said report is true and correct and such expenditures
should be approved; therefore by motion duly made by Eckstein, seconded by Molter and unanim-
ously approved by the court for such expenditures therein.

No. 5689. APPROVAL OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS.
This the 16th day of July, A. D. 1952, came on to be considered by the court, the claims
and accounts filed against Kerr County and its respective precincts since the last term of
this court, and it appearing that all claims and accounts filed against Road & Bridge #1,
Road & Bridge #2, Road & Bridge ~3, Road & Bridge #~+ and the General Fund of Kerr County,
Texas, should be approved for payment. Therefore by motion duly made by Goff, seconded by
Powell and unanimously approved for such claims, payable out of the respective funds.

No. 5690. COTJNTY TREASU"~tER DIRECTED TO ISSUE DUPLICATE CHECK IN AMOUNT OF X63.00 TO J. M.
EGAN.
This the 16th day of July, A. D. 1952, came on to be considered by the court, checlt
#14055, issued from County Clerks voucher 14253, dated April 1.7, 1952, payable to J. M. Egan
in the amount of X63,00, which original check has been lost or misplaced. It appearing to
the court that the County Treasurer should be authorized to issue a check in lieu of the orig-
inal thereof, and stop payment on the original dated April 1'7, 1952; therefore by motion duly
made by Molter, seconded by Goff and unanimously approved by t;he court, that the County Treas-
urer be and is hereby directed to issue a duplicate check to J, M, Egan and stop payment on
County Treasurers check #14055, which has bean lost or misplaced.

No. 5691. ORDER BY COUNTY JiPJGE ON APPOINTMENT OF ALONZO MITCHELL GUT~iRIE, COMMISSIONER
PRECINCT #1, DUE TO VACANCY AS RESULT OF THE DEATH OF HENRY ECKSTEIN.
This the 7th day of August, A. D. 1952, came on to be considered, by the Co~znty J•zdge,
the vacancy that occurs in Commissioners Precinct #1, as a result of the death of Henry Eckstein,
on August 6, 1952, and acting by authority under Article #2341, Revised Civil Statutes of the
Mate o° Texas, Alonzo Mitchell Guthrle~ be and is hereby appointed Commissioner of Precinct
#1, to fill the vacancy in said office for the unexpired term ending December 31, 1952. The
said Alonzo 1`fitchell Guthrie having presented his official bonds in the amounts of X1,000.00
and X3,000.00 respectively, with the Western Surety Company of Dallas as surety thereon, and
having duly qualified by taking his official oath of office, said bonds be and are hereby ap-
proved in all respects, and the County Clerk be, and is hereb}~ directed to file said bonds in
the official bond records of his office.
