This the 16th day of July, A. D. 1952, came on to be examined, the monthly report of Jno.
i?. Leavell, County Judge, of Kerr County, Texas for the month of June, 1952, showing an actual
and necessary expense of $3.16 incurred by him in the conduct of his office during said month,
and it appearing to the court that said report is true and correct and such expenditures
should be approved; therefore by motion duly made by Eckstein, seconded by Molter and unanim-
ously approved by the court for such expenditures therein.

This the 16th day of July, A. D. 1952, came on to be considered by the court, the claims
and accounts filed against Kerr County and its respective precincts since the last term of
this court, and it appearing that all claims and accounts filed against Road & Bridge #:1,
Road & Bridge #k2, Road Pc Bridge #3, Road & Bridge #~+ and the General Fund of Kerr Count;,
Texas, should be approved for payment. Therefore by motion duly made by Goff, seconded by
Powell and unanimously approved for such claims, payable out of the respective funds.

#14055, issued from County Clerks voucher 14253, dated April ].7, 1952, payable to J. M. Egan
in the amount of ,63,00, which original check has been lost or misplaced. It appearing to
the cou_Tt that the County Treasurer should be authorized to issue a check in lieu of the orig-
inal thereof, and stop payment on the original dated April 17, 1952; therefore by motion duly
made by Molter, seconded by Goff and unanimously approved by t:he court, that the County Treas-
urer be and is hereby directed to issue a duplicate check to J. N?. Egan and stop paymeni~ on
County Tressurers check X14055, which has bean lost or misplaced.

PRECIDTCT #1, DUE TO VACANCY AS RESULT OF THE DEATH OF HENRY ECKSTEIN.
This the 7th day of August, A. D. 1952, came on to be considered, by the County Ju<lge,
the vacancy that occurs in Commissioners Precinct #1, as a result of the death of Henry Eckstein,
on August 6, 1952, and acting by authority under Article X2341, Revised Civil Statutes of the
State o° Texas, Alonzo Mitchell Guthrie, be and is hereby appointed Commissioner of Pre<anct
#1, to fill the vacancy in said office for the unexpired term ending December 31, 1952. The
said Alonzo Mitchell Guthrie having presented his official bonds in the amounts of X1,000,00
and ?3,000,00 respectively, with the Western Surety Company of Dallas as surety thereon, and
having duly qualified by taking his official oath of office, said bonds be and are hereby ap-
proved in all respects, and the Co?.mty Clerk be, and is herebti- directed to file said bonds in
the official bond records of his office.
