This the 13th day of August, A. D. 1952, camp on to be presented to the court, the claim
of Sid Peterson Memorial hospital for the county's one-half of expenses for indigent patients
from April 1, 1951 to November 1, 1951 inclusive. It appearing to the court that on r".arch
12, 1952, an amount of X1200.00 was allowed at this time for the county's one-half of the ex-
penses for indigent patients to cover an additional amount due by Kerr County for the period
from April 1, 1951 to November 1, 1951, inclusive. Therefore by motion duly made by Goff,
seconded by Powell and unanimously approved by the court that the County Cl^rk be and is here-

seconded by Guthrie and unanimously approved by the court, that the County Clerk be, and is
hereby directed to issue notice by publication in a local newspaper, to the effect that a
hearing will be held on the proposed 19 53 County Budget and the levy of the 195? tax, in the
court room of the courthouse in Kerrville, Kerr County, Texas, at 2:00 ?. M. on Thursday,
August 28, 1952, which time and place is hereby set for said public hearing on said proposed
1953 County Budget and the levy of 1952 tax.

No. 5722. VACANCY OF OFFICE OF CONSTABLE, PRECINCT #4 AND APPOINTMENT OF ED H. BAKER AS
CONSTABLE.
This the 28th day of August, A, r, 1952, came on to be presented by the court, the pet-
ition of twenty-three residents of Commissioners Precinct #4 applying for an appointment for
.- Ed H. Baker to serve as a night watchman in the Town of Ingram. It appearing to the court that
the office of Constable, Precinct #i+, is vacant and should be declared as such, and that the
petition requesting the appointment of rd H. Baker should be granted upon the officer making
of
bond in the amount of X1,000.00 and the taking/his oath as required by law for the unexpired
term ending December 31, 1952. Therefore by motion duly made by Goff, seconded by Guthrie
and unanimously approved by the court that the office of Constable of Precinct #~, be and
is hereby declared vacated and that Ed H. Baker be and is hereby appointed Constable of Pre-
cinct i~+, upon his making bond in the amount of $1,000.00 and by taking his official oath of
office as required by law.

This the 28th day of August, A. D. 1952, came on to be presented by the court, the off-
icial bond executed by Ed H. Baker as principal thereon, together with personal sureties of
Tom J. Moore, and A. D. Sample. It appearing to the court that the sureties on said bond have

this time. Therefore by motion duly made by Goff, seconded by Guthrie and unanimously ap-
