APPROVAL OF HILL COUNTRY CONSTRUCTION COMPANY CLAIM IN AMOUNT OF $1410.00. This the 29th day of August, A. D. 1952, came on to be presented by the court, the claim in the amount of .1410.00 against Road & Bridge #3 for topping the 4/10 mile on Herman Sons Road, and it appearing to the court that said claim is true and correct and should be approved at this time, therefore by motion duly made by Goff, seconded by Fowe11 and unanimously ap- proved by the court, that the County Clerk be and is hereby directed to draw voucher against the County Treasurer in amount of X1410.00 payable out of Road & Bridge #3 to Hill Country Construction Company for the 4/10 mile topping on Herman Sons Road. -o-o-o-o-o-o-o- No. 5727. OPENING OF BIDS OF BOB BOWDEN AND HILL COUATTRY CONSTRUCTION COD7FANY IN ~:E: RI;RR- VILLE-INGRAN HWY. 27. This the 29th day of August, A. D. 1952, came on to be considered by the court, th.e open- ing of the two bids presented by Bob Bowden and Hill Country Construction Company for vase work and paving driveways between Kerrville-Ingram on Highway #27, which were opened avid the contents presented to-wit: No. 1. Bob Bowden proposed to base work and pave 3,603 square yards at 60¢ per square yard being $2,162.40 or pave 3603 square yards at 40¢ per square yard, being $1440.20. No. 2. Hill Country Construction Company proposes to use .2 gal. per square yard on first shot and cover by 5/8 local stone for the sum of 26¢ per square yard on a base already prepared, with the following driveways being to 0. Graham, Mt. View Lodges, Kozy Kottag;es and K.E.V.T. (pavement of Highway #27 to property lines). He further proposes that the in- side Radio Station, he will furnish all base and shoot a double course of asphalt per square yard and maintain same for a period of one year. He further proposes to do all base work necessary and shoot a double course of asphalt, totaling one gallon per square yard, on both courses and covering same for 55¢ per square yard. The court having considered the two bids, feel that the decision should be passed until August 20, 1952; therefore by motion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Goff and the motion carried, as Molter was absent from the room, and the decision of this court be passed Lentil August 30, 1952. -o-o-o-o-o-o-o- No. 5728.
