This the 29th day of August, A. D. 1952, came on to be considered, the public hearing
which was had on Thursday, August 28, 1952 on the matter of the adoption of the County Budget
for 1952 and the fixing and levy of tax rates of the County and various School Districts for
the year 1952, and it anpearing to the court that proper notices has been published in a news-
paper in the City of Kerrville, Texas, for at least one week prior to the hearing date hereof
and after a thorough examination by the court, and the consideration by the public interest
of the community, the court is o£ the opinion that the tentatively budget should be approved,
and that the County roads school and special taxes for Kerr County for the year 1952, be and
are hereby levied at the following rates, payable on each X100.00 valuation, to-wit:

No. 5732• ORDER OF COMMISSIONERS' COURT AGREEING TO FURNISH RIGHT-OF-WAY.

of Kerr County, Texas, in
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Commissioners' Court
session on this, the _ day of 1952, that the Texas Highway

Department will order a location made on Highway No. F. M. 68`3, at Turtle Creek for relocation
of crossing and approaches provided Kerr County, through its Commissioners' Court, agrees and
obligates itself before location is made to fulfill the following requirements, on location
approved by the Texas Highway Department, without cost to the State: (1) Provide clear title
to the following, with standing timber: a minimum of 100 ft, foot right-of=yra y, and right-of-
way for such drainage facilities as may be required, such title to be in the name of the State
of Texas; (2) remove all obstructions and encroachments except standing timber; and (3) do the
fencing.
IT IS, THEREFORE, ORDERED THAT Kerr County, acting herein by and through its Commissioners'
Court, agrees and obligates itself, before location is made, to fulfill the following require-
ments at its own expense and without recourse on the State for. any costs or other obligations
incurred thereby:
(1) Provide clear title to the following, with standing timber: a minimum of 100 foot
right-of-way, and right-of-way for such drainage facilities as may be required, such title to
be in the name of the estate of Texas.
(2) Remove all obstructions and encroachments except standing timber; and
(3) Do the fencing;

Country Construction Company covering the base work and paving of the drive-ways of the prop-
erty owners along Kerrville-Ingram Highway #27, be rejected.

No. 573+. CONTRACT WITiI HILL COUNTRY CONSTRUCTION COMPANY.
This the 30th day of August, A. n. 1952, after motion having been made by Molter, seconded
by Guthrie and unanimously approved by the court, that Kerr County enter into a contract with
Hill Country Construction Company for base work and pave the entrances and drive-ways known
as the Mt. View Lodges, 0. Graham Station, K.r.V.T. and T. R. Ingram Court, and that as.ohalt
is to be used 3/10 on first shot with a 5/8 aggregate, with 7/10 shot of asphalt, consisting
of 3/8 aggregate finish. 'Phis contract to be awarded at the rate of 60’ per square yard as
per square yard measured on job when completed.
