No. 5800 COUNTY CLERKS AUTHORITY TO ISSUE VOUCHERS TO LABORERS OF COUNTY COB~;rIiISSIONER.
This the 12th day of November, A. D. 1952, came on to be considered by the Court, i;he

payment of salaries of laborers working under each County Commissioner, oP Kerr County vaherein,
some employees are desirous of receiving his salary before the meeting of the Commissioners
Court, and it appearing to the court that presently Commissioners of Precinct ~`1 and #4 are
presenting a sworn statement to the Chas. Schreiner yank, Uninc., and collecting in cash the
respective salary of each employee, at which time said hang; retains loo fee fro~a said employees
pay, for cashing. ?Therefore, the Court is of the opinion that it ~r~ould be more practicable to
authorize the County Clerk to draw voucher against the County Treasurer for the exact amount of
salary for each employee upon the presentation and sworn statement of each Commissioner as to
its correctness; that upon receipt of such sworn statement, said vouchers are to be dra3wn in
favor of each laborer, payahle out oP the respective fund of each Commissioner's Precinct, pro-
vided however, such precinct fund has a balance sufficient to draw said payment therefrom; and
that the Clerk s?iould then be directed to present such sworn claim to the Commissioners Court
sitting st its next regular session, _°or approval and/or confirmation thereof; therefore by
motion duly made by Goff, seconded by Guthrie and the vote having been carried after Fowell and ^
&Iolter voted against said proposition and the County Judge voted in favor thereof, the County
Clerk be and is hereby directed to draw voucher against the County Treasurer for the amount
of salary said commissioner has authorized the clerk to pay each laborer as per his sworn
affidavit filed in the County C'lerk's office; that said Clerk be and is hereby directed to
issue voucher to each lahcrer respectively, payahle out o'_' the respective Łund of each commissioues's
precinct as per claim filed by said coumissir.ner's, provided however, said Commissioner's
Precinct fund has a sufficient balance therein. The County Clerk be and is hereby directed to
present said sworn as'f9.davit on aL'. vouchers issued. to each laborer from the respective comm-
issioner's precincts, at the next regular session of the Commissioners Court for the courts
approval and/or confirmation.

This the 12th day of November, A. D. 1952, came on to be examined by the court, the month-
ly report of Lawrence Stephens, County ''lark, for the month of October, 1952, showing an actual
and necessary expenditure of X699.11 incurred by hire in the conduct of his office during said
month, and it appearing to the court that said report is true and correct ar.d should be approved
therefore by motion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Po••;ell and unsnimously approved by the
court for such expenditures therein.

report of E. H. Nichols, Tax Assessor and Collector, of Kerr County, Texas, for the month oP
October, A. D. 1952, showing an actual ar.d necessary expense of X953.25 incurred by him in the
conduct of his office during said month, and it appearing t o the court that said report is true
and correct and such expenditures should be approved; therefore by motion duly made be Guthrie
seconded by Powell and unanimously approved by the court for such expenditures herein.
