No. 5800 COUNTY CLERKS AUTHORITY TO ISSUE VOUCHERS TO LABORERS OF COUNTY COT~wIISSIONER. This the 12th day of November, A. D. 1952, came on to be considered by the Court, the r payment of salaries oP laborers working under each County Commissioner, of Kerr County wherein, some employees are desirous of receiving his salary before the meeting of the Commissioners Court, and it appearing to the court that presently Commissioners of Precinct f,`1 and #L, are presenting a sworn statement to the Chas. Schreiner Tank, Uninc., and collecting in cash the respective salary of each employee, at which time said han'r: retains ljo fee froc^. said employees pay, for cashing. !'/herefore, the Court is of the opinion that it would be more practicable to authorize the County Clerk to draw voucher against the County Treasurer for the exact amount oP salary for each employee upon the presentation and sworn statement of each Commissioner as to its correctness; that upon receipt of such sworn statement, said vouchers are to be drawn in favor of each laborer, payable out of the respective fund of each Commissioner's Precinct, pro- vided however, such precinct fund has a ralsnce sufficient to draw said payment therefrom; and that the Clerk should then be directed to present such sworn claim to the Corcuuissioners Court sitting at its next regular session, for approval and/or confirmation thereof; therefore by motion duly made by Goff, seconded by Guthrie and the vote having been carried after Powell and ^' Tr.olter voted against said proposition and the County Judge voted in favor thereof, the County Clerk be and is hereby directed to draw voucher against the C',ounty Treasurer for the amount of salary said conuni;sioner has authorized the clerk to pay each laborer as per his swop°n affidavit filed in the County C'lerk's office; that paid Clerk be and is hereby directed to issue voucher to each laherer respectively, payable out of the respective fund of each commissimex's precinct as per claim filed by said commissioner's, provided however, said Cormnissioner's Precinct fund has a sufficient balance therein. 'Nherefore the court is of the opinion that in order to correct the monthly report entered under order No. 58G3, it is necessary that this report be accepted and approved as a correction thereof, and a rebursement of X8.50 made by the Justice of the Peace Precinct No. 1, in order that he may pay the State Fish and Game Commission for the proper amount they are entitled to under said cause No. 12921.
