No. 5411. FIXING SALARY OF COUNTY JUDGE.
This the 15th day of January, A. D. 1951, came on to be considered by the court, the sala~
of the County Judge for the ensuing year, and it appearing to the court that said officer is
ex-officio County Superintendent and receives part of his compensation through said source and
is entlt led to retain his fees of office and that his salary should be fixed at $1320.00 per
annum as County Judge and $3.00 per annum as Juvenile Officer of Kerr County; therefore by
motion duly made by Eckstein, seconded by Powell and unanimously approved by the court, that
the salary of the County Judge be fixed at $1320. per annum payable untC John R. Leavell in
monthly installments of $110.00, the first payment to begin January ilst, 1952, and the salary
of Juvenile Officer be fixed at $300.00 per annum, payable to said Officer in monthly install-
ments of $25.00. The County Clerk be, and is hereby authorized and directed to draw vouchers
against the County Treasurer in the amount of $110.00 monthly out of the Road Pc Bridge Fund,
and '625.00 each month out of the General Fund of Kerr County, and said Officer is further
authorized to retain the maximum fees of said office according to law.

No. 5412. FIXING SALARY OF THE ASSISTANT TO COUNTY JUDGE.
This the 15th day of January, A. D. 19`77, came on to be considered by the court, the
salary of Agnes TgacOonald, assistant to the County Judge for the year 1952, and it appearing
to the court that said assistant is partially employed by the County and by the County Super-
intendent; that she is receiving a salary from the common School Districts, and that she has
been receiving $900,00 from the County, the court is of the opinion that said salary should be
refixed at $900.00 per annum.
Therefore by motion duly made by Eckstein, seconded by Goff and unanimously approved by
the court that the salary of said assistant Agnes MacDonald, be fixed at $900.00 per annum,
payable $75.00 per month beginning January 31, 1952, that the County Clerk be, and is hereby
directed to draw vovc her against the County Treasurer in said amount on the General Fund of

This the 15th day of January, A. D. 1952, came on to be considered by the court, the fix
of the salary of GuY Powell, County Agent of Kerr County, and it appearing to the court that
said agent receives benefits from the Extension Service and that $1800.00 per annum should be
fixed as his salary from Kerr County; therefore by motl on duly made by Eckstein, seconded by
Powell and unanimously approved by the court, that the salary of Guy Powell, County Agent of
Kerr County, be fixed at $1800.00 per annum payable $150.00 at the expiration of each month,
beginning January 31st, 1952, and the County Clerk be and is hereby directed to draw vouchers
against the County Treasurer in the amount of $150.00 per month, payable to said officer out
Road & Bridge Fund, of Kerr County.

This the 15th day of January, p. D. 1951, came on to be considered by the court, the Sala
of District Judge Ross E. Doughty, as Juvenile Officer of Kerr County, and it appearing to the
court that said officer is entitled to $300.00 per annum and that said alary should be fixed
for that amount.
Therefore by motion duly made by Eckstein, seconded by Powell and unanimously approved by
the court, that the salary of Juvenile Officer Ross E. Doughty, be fixed at $300.00 per annum
payable $25.00 each month, beginning January 31, 1952. The County Clerk be, and is hereby
directed to draw voucher against the County Treasurer in said monthly payment, payable to
said Ross Doughty out of the Gelaral Fund of Kerr County.

This the 15th day of January, A. D. 1951, came on to be considered by the court, the con-
firmation of the fixed salary of Julia R. Farrell, Court Reporter of Kerr County, Łor the en-
suing year 1952, and it appearing to the court that said salary is fixed by the District Judge
and that same should be confirmed by this court in the amount d $717.00 per annum; therefore
by motion duly made by Powell, seconded by Molter and unanimously approved by the court, that
the salary of Julia R. Farrell, Court Reporter of Kerr County be confirmed at $717.00 per
annum payable 659.75 monthly, beginning January 31, 1952. The County Clerk be and is hereby
directed to draw proper vouchers against the County Treasurer in said monthly amounts payable
to said Reporter out of the Jury Fund of Kerr Coudty, Texas.

salary of Ayleene Wharton, secretary to District Attorney for the 98th Judicial District Sn
accordance with Chapter #365> SB2112 of the 52nd Legi9lature, which authorizes a maximum sal-
ary in amount of $2400.00 per annum of which a pro rata portion in accordance with the pop-
ulation of tha County would amount to $33.00 a month for Kerr County's share, upon the prow-
ision that a combined ma6ority of the Commissioners Courts of said district allow such em-
ployment, that such employment has been approved by a majority of the Commissioners Courtsq
therefore by motion duly made by Powell, seconded by Molter and unanimously approved by the
court that the County Clerk be authorized to draw voucher against the County Treasurer in
amount of 633.00 each month out of the General Fund of Kerr County, beginning January 31st,
1952 and each month thereafter payable to Ayleene Wharton, Secretary to District Attorney
for the 38th Judicial District, aggregating $396.00 per annum.
