said officer is entitled to a salary, and that said officer being entitled to his fees of
office, that $600.00 should be sufficient salary per annum. Therefore, by motion duly made
by Eckstein, seconded by Molter and unanimously approved by the court that the salary of Virg
Storms, Justice of the Peace, Precinct #1, be fixed at .$600.00 per annum for the ensuing year

No. 5426. AUTHORITY FOR TAX COLLECTOR AND COIINTY CLERK TO TRADE IN FOUR OLD TYPEWRITERS.
This the 15th day of Tanuary, A. D. 1952, came on to be heard by the court, the request
of E. H. Nichols, Tax Assessor & Collector of Kerr County, Texas, for his authority to trade
in a 26 inch Underwood typewriter and two 12 inch Underwood typewriters for two new 15 inch
typewriters, one being an interchangeable 26 inch carriage. Wherefore, the court having con-
sidered that the county has two 26 inch carriage Underwood machines beyopd repairing, one of
which belongs to the County Clerk's office and the other two to the County Tax Collector's
