APPROVAL OF CLAIM Q'' LOWER COLORADO RIVER AUTHORITY TO REMOVE AND RELOCATE AN ELECTRIC LINE ACROSS KEARVILLE - INGRAM HWY. #27. This the 16th day of January, A. D. 1952, came on to be presented to the court by R. M. Mickle, a claim in favor Of Lower Colorado River Authority in the amount of $2,363. being an undivided one-half expense for the removal and relocation of the electric lines from the new Kerrville-Ingram right QY' way along State Highway #27. Wherefore the court having con- sidered that the claim in the amount of $2,363.00 would be one-half of the actual cost to re- move and relocate from the new right of way for State Highway #27 and that this amount is fai and Just and should be allowed. FIXING SALARY OF COUNTY ATTORNEY. This the 16th day of January, A. D. 1952, came on to be considered by the court, the fixing of the salary of James E. Nugent, County Attorney, and it.appearing to the court that said officer is entitled to receive fees and commissions in the county and Justices courts, and that hiS salary should be fixed at $900.00 per annum, therefore by motion duly made by Powell, seconded by Goff and unanimously approved by the court, that the salary of James E. It appearing to the court that $300.00 per annum has been allowed by Kerr County for former years and that said amount should be regranted; therefore by motion duly made by Molter, seconded by Goff and unanimously approv ed by the court, that Kerr County allow the sum of $300.00 per annum for incldential expenses in favor of The Kerrville Public Library in monthly installments of $25.00 per month, beginn- ~- ~~ ing January 31, 1952. APPLICATION HY COUNTY CLERK FOR FOUR DEPUTIES AND/OR ASSISTANTS. This the 16th day of January, A. D. 1952, came on to be presented to the court, the application of Lawrence Stephens, County Clerk of Kerr County, Texas, requesting four deputies at a proposed salary of $7400.00 and probable receipts for said office in the approximate amou $9200.00 together with an additional disbursement above the payment of salary in the approx- imate amount of $200.00. And it appearing to the court that said application is fair and Just and in the opinion of the court should be approved and that the first deputy to be allowed a salary not to exceed $2250.00 per annum and each deputy thereafter to receive a salary not to exceed $1875.00; therefore by motion duly made by Goff, seconded by Molter and unanimously p approved by the court that the application for deputies and/or assistants be approved in its ~ pp entirety and that the salary of the first deputy of Bald office be fixed not to exceed $2250. per annum and that the second, third and fourth deputies salaries not to exceed $1875.00 per annum. -o-o-o-o-o-o- No. 5437. FIXING COMPENSATION AND COMMISSIONS OF TAX COLLECTOR & ASSESSOR OF XERR COUNTY. This the 16th day of January, A. D. 1952, came on to be considered by the court, the fix- ing of the compensation and commissions of E. H. Nichols, Tax Assessor and Collector of Kerr County, Texas. It appearing to the court that said officer Ss entitled to file a claim with this court for his assessing commissions and that he is allowed to retain a pro rata part of his fees of office and that combining his fees and commissions, that said officer should be entitled to a maximum of $3750.00 per annum as his compensation for the ensuing year 1952; therefore by motion duly made by Molter, seconded by Goff and unanimously approved by the court that E. H.
