NOTICE Or CON~ISSIOPIFi.?~S COURTS' INTENTION TO CHANGE SALARIES.

In Compliance with an order of the Commissioners Court of Kerr County,
Texas, had at its Regular December Term, December 8th, 1952, under and by
authority of Article 391.2 g, Section 1 to Section 6, inclusive Revised Civil
Statutes, State of Texas, when in the judgment of the Commissioners Court,
the financial condition of the county and the needs of the officers, deputies,
assistants and clerks, of any district, county or precinct officers justify
an increase in compensation, elective officers not to exceed 25°fo, and the
deputies, assistants and clerks not to exceed 35~, each of such categories
being allowed such increase based on the salary allowed under law for the
fiscal year of 1948, whether paid on a fee or salary basis, provided, hovrever,
the members of the Commissioners Court may not raise the salary oŁ any such
Commissioners Court under the terms of this act without raising the salary
of the remaining county officers in like propo~°t ion.
Notice is hereby given of the Commissioners Courts' intention to make
changes of salaries of those a_°fected, at a public hearing to be held on
rdondap, January 12th, A. D. 1953, beginning at 10:00 o'clock i. A:. in the
County Court Room on the Pirst floor of the Court House in the City of
Kerrville, 'texas, at which time the public is ask to study the financial
condition of the County in joint session with the Commissioners Court to
determine vrhether the County finances are in a condition to warrant a raise
or make a change or an adjustment of such salaries or compensation of the
prec~_nct, county, and district officers and,~or deputies, assistants and
clerks in compliance to said article 39128 R. C. S.
You are hereby commanded, that by publication of this writ at least once
a week for thrze (3) consecutive weeks, in a newspaper printed in the County
of Kerr, State of Texas, giving due notice to all tsa payers interested in
the welfare of the County.
