Therefore by motion duly made by Powell, seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the court that all P9strict, County, and Precinct Officers of Kerr County, with exception of Peace Officers, shall retain such maximum fees as are earned by them in the performance of their official duties as contemplated under Article 3u91a ?.. Collei'e System, submitted a proposed hudget for extension workers in Kerr County, Texas, for the period of Tanuary 1st, 1953, and ending December 31st, 1953, proposing an increase of salary for Guy Povrell, County A~~•ent, frog. ~"18GG.U0 to :~240U.00 per annum, and so stating to the Court, that this County Afent, Guy Powell, is being paid the lovreat salary for this district. The court after having been informed that said Agent was receiving in the capacity as County A~~ent the sum of „1228.G0 from the Federal Government, X1332.00 from the State Government, and ,y18GG.uG from the County Government, to- getY.er with traveling alloy/ance from the State Government in the amount of ;~SUO.UO per annum, aggregating a total salary and traveling expense of ''~4S60.G0, are of the opinion that such salary should be increased. ?wherefore the court having been requested an additional '~6UU.00 raise for the County's pro rata proportion of said salary, the court is of the opinion that an increase of '"300.OG should be granted, as they are aware of the fact that if some increase is not made, the extension service will relieve Kerr County of a L'ounty Agent.
