paid or to be paid a Home Demonstration Agent is ~3967.G0, including travel allovaance, and
that in order to furnish another Home Demonstration Agent to Kerr County, it will be necessary
to increase Kerr County's pro rata part oĢ said salary :~130G.00 to w1600.00 per annum. There-
fore motion duly made by Powell, seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the court
that Kerr County's pro rata part of salary for the Kerr County Home Demonstr~stion Agent be in-
creased from x':1300.00 to .;'1600.60 per annum to be payable out of the General Fund of Kerr
County to the County Home Demonstration Agent, beginning from the time of employment, and
to continue for the ensuing year 1953, in monthly installments of ~v133.33 each by voucher drawn
by the County Clerk on the County Treasurer.

No. 5908. FIXING THE SALARY OF THE COUNTY JUDGE.
This the 16th day of January, A. D. 1953, came on to be considered by the court, the
salary of the County Jud~,e for the ensuing year, and it appearing to the court that said officer
~- is ex-officio County Superintendent and receives part of his compensation through said source,
and is entitled to retain his fees of office and that his salary should be fixed at X1326.60
per annum as County Judge and X300.00 per annum as Juvenile Officer of Kerr County; therefore
by motion duly made by Bartel, seconded by Goff, and unanimously approved by the court, that
the salary of the County Judge be fixed at ~132U.U0 per annum payable to John R. Leavell in
monthly installments of :;1110.00 the first payment to begin January 31st, 1953, and the salary
as Juvenile Officer be fixed at :,300.00 per annum, payable to said officer in monthly install-
ments of ^,625.00. The County Clerk be, and is hereby authorized and directed to draw vouchers
against the County Treasurer in the amount of .110.00 monthly out of the Road & Bridge 5'und,
^25,00 each month out of the General Fund of Kerr County, and said officer is further authorized
to retain the maximum fees of said office according to law.

This the 16th day of January, A. D. 1953, after motion having been iuade by Guthrie, se-
conded by Powell, and unanimously approved by the court that the salaries of the Commissioners
of Kerr County for the ensuing year of 1953 be fixed as follows to-wit:
L. ^.. Guthrie, Commissioner, Precinct No. 1, X1800.00 salary and ~660.OG traveling expense;
`'. D. Po~riell, Commissioner, precinct No. 2, ~15U0.00 salary and ~r300.U0 traveling expense;
Adolph Pertel, Commissioner, Precinct No. 3, 61500.00 and y>300.CU traveling expense and Lee
Goff, Commissioner, Precinct No. 4, ~''1800.OU salary and w6U0.00 traveling expense. The County
Clerk be and is hereby directed to draw vouchers against the County Treasurer in monthly pay-
men u , beginning January 31st, 1953 in the amount of X150.00 each, out of the General Fund,
payable to L. P.'. Guthrie and Lee Goff, together with •;Y50.00 payable to each of said officers,
payable out of their respective Road and Fridge Precincts for traveling expense, and the month-
ly salaries of 1125.00 each, payat~le to 'T. D. Powell and Adolph Part el out of the General Fund,
together with X25.00 monthly payable to each of said officers for traveling expenses, out of
their respective road and bridge Precincts.
