Texas A. &. College system, requests an additional x60U.OC increase for Kerr County's pro
rata share for said salary. '"'herefore, the court has the knowledge that the aggregate salary
paid or to be paid a Home Demonstration Agent is ~'3967.GU, including travel allowance, and
that in order to furnish another Home Demonstration Agent to Kerr County, it will be necessary
to increase Kerr County's pro rata part of said salary .;~"130G.GU to X1600.00 :per annum. There-
fore motion duly made by Powell, seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the court
that Kerr County's pro rata part of salary for the Kerr County Home Demonstration Agent be in-
creased from ':1300.00 to ;'1600.00 per annum to be payable out of the General Fund of Kerr
County to the County Home Demonstration Agent, beginning from the time of employment, and
to continue for the ensuing year 1953, in monthly installments of :133.33 each by voucher drawn
by the County Clerk on the County Treasurer.

No. 5908. FIXING THE SALARY OF THE COUNTY JUDGE.
This the 16th day of January, A. D. 1953, came on to be considered by the court, the
salary of the County JudF;e for the ensuing year, and it appearing to the coux•t that said officer
is ex-officio County Superintendent and receives part of his compensation through said source,
and is entitled to retain his fees of office and that his salary should be f9.xed at x$1326.00
per annum as County Judge and w300.00 per annum as Juvenile Officer of Kerr County; therefore
by motion duly made by Bartel, seconded by Goff, and unanimously approved by the court, that
the salary of the County Judge be fixed at X1320.00 per annum payable to John R. Leavell in
monthly installments of ~"~110.00 the first payment to begin January 31st, 1953, end the salary
as Juvenile Officer be fixed at ;',300.60 per annum, payable to said officer in montrily install-
ments of w25.00. The County Clerk be, and is hereby authorized and directed to draw vouchers
against the County Treasurer in the amount of y110.00 monthly out of the Road & Fridge Fund,
:;;25.00 each month out of the General Fund of Kerr County, and said officer is further authorized
to retain the maximum fees of said office according to law.

This the 16th day of January, A. n. 1953, after motion having been ic,ade by Guthrie, se-
conded by Powell, and unanimously approved by the court that the salaries of the Commissioners
of Kerr County for the ensuing year of 1953 be fixed as follows to-wit:
L. ".:. Guthrie, Commissioner, Precinct No. 1, X1800.00 salary and ~600.OG traveling expense;
`'. D. Poi.^~ell, Commissioner, precinct No. 2, ~15C0.00 salary and w300.00 traveling expense;
Adolph Fartel, Commissioner, Precinct No. 3, ;].500.00 and ~;>300.00 traveling expense and Lee
Goff, Commissioner, Precinct No. 4, "~1800.OU salary and •;x600.00 traveling expense. The County
Clerk be and is hereby directed to draw vouchers against the County Treasurer in monthly pay-
ments, beginning January 31st, 1953 in the amount of ~y150.00 each, out of the General Fund,
payable to L. .:.. Guthrie and Lee Goff, together with ~,;+50.00 payable to each of said officers,
payable out of their respective Road and ?ridge Precincts for traveling expense, and the month-
ly salaries of `;125.00 each, payable to V. D. Powell and Adolph Bartel out of the General Fund,
together with X25.00 monthly payable to each of said officers for traveling expenses, out of
their respective road and bridge Precincts.

No. 5916 FIXING SALARY OF ASSISTANT TO THE COUNTY JUDGE.
This the 16th day of January, A. D. 1953, came on to be considered by the court the salary
of Agnes McDonald, Assistant to the County Jud,ee for the ensuing year of 1953, and it appearing
to the court that said assistant should receive from Kerr County the salary of X900.00, payable

Powell and unanimously approved by the court, that said salary be fixed at w9U0.6U per annum,
payable in monthly installments of X75.66 a month beginning January 12th, 1953, and the County ,-,

payable out of the General Fund of Kerr County.

No. 5911. FIXING SALARY OF CUSTODIAN.
This the 16th day of January, A. D. 1953, came on to be considered by the court the fix-
ing of salary of Irvin Parks, as janitor - custodian of Kerr County for the ensuing year of
1953. It appearing to the court that such salary should be fixed at w1800.00 per annum payable
in semi-monthly installments of :~75,U0 each. Therefore by motion duly made by Goff, seconded
by Fartel and unanimously approved by the court that the salary for Irvin Parks should be fixed
at ""1800.00 per annum, payable in semi-monthly installments of ;'75.60 each, beginning January
15th, 1953, and on the 1st and 15th of each month thereafter, against the General Fund of
Kerr County, by proper voucher drawn on the County Treasurer.

salary of District Judge Ross F,. Doughty, as Juvenile officer of Kerr County, and it appearing

fixed for that amount.
