I No. 5915. FIXING SALARY OF CITY-COUNTY SANITARIAN.
This the 16th day of January, A. D. 1953, came on to be considered by the court, the
fixing of the salary of Virgil V. Farsons, Gity-County Sanitarian of Kerr County, Texas, and
it appearing to the court that said officer is compensated by the City of Kerrville and Kerr
Co::nty jointly, and that Kerr County has heretofore ~-ranted a salary of X1800.00 per annum
for its pro rata part, together with x'300.00 per annum for traveling expense and an additional
:~300.G0 for traveling expense providing said officer made proper affidavit es to the mileage
driven, at the rate of 5~ per mile, otherwise for the exact mileage at said rate. In the
opinion of the court, said officer should be re-granted said amount of salary and traveling
allowance.
Therefore by motion duly made by Goff, seconded by Powell and unanimously approved by
the court, that the salary of Virgil V. Farsons, City-County Sanitarian, be fixed at .~1800.U0
per annum, payable ,~'150.G0 a month beginning January 31st, 1953 and that :„;300.OU per annum
.~ be granted as traveling expense payable ~E25.00 each month beginning January 31st, 1953, and
an additional amount not to exceed ',`300.00 payable ~iy25.00 monthly upon the f?resentation of
an itemized mileage account rendered for both the City and County at the rate of 5~ per mile,
and the County Clerk be, and is hereby directed to draw vouchers against the: County Treasurer
in like amounts and in accordance with a sworn affidavit as to the total mileage driven in
performance of his duty as Sanitarian, and payahle to said officer out of tk.e General i~und
of Kerr County.

This the 16th day of January, A. D. 1953, came on to be considered by the court the
salary of Oliver Moore, Sheriff of Kerr County, for the ensuing year 1953, and it appearing
to the court that the salary for said officer should he ';3600.00 per annum, payahle in monthly
installments. Therefore by motion duly made by Po~,~~ell, seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously
approved by the court that the salary of Sheriff Oliver Moore, be fixed at .;~3600.OU per annum,
payahle x;300.00 a month beginning January 31st, 1953 to be drawn on the General Flznd of Kerr
County by proper voucher issued by the County Clerk on the County Treasurer of Kerr County.

ing of the salary of Alton Smith, Deputy Sheriff of Kerr (,ounty in Commissioners' Frecinct
#2, and it appearing to the court that the salary of said deputy should be fixed at .~18GG.00
per annum; therefore by motion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Po~~ell and unanimously approv-
ed by the court, that the salary of Alton Smith be fixed at w1800.00 per annum payable at
the end of each month, beginning Janu~:ry 31, 1953, and the County Clerk be and is hereby dir-
