This the 16th day of January, A,. P. 1953, came on to be considered by t;he court, the
fixing of the salary of Virgil V. Parsons, City-County Sanitarian of Kerr County, Texas, and
it arpearing to the court that said officer is compensated by the City of Kerrville and Kerr
Co~~:nty jointly, and that Kerr County has heretofore granted a salary of :~18C;0.00 per annum
for its pro rata part, together with :"300.00 per annum for traveling expense; and an additional
`300.00 for traveling expense providing said officer made proper affidavit e:s to the mileage
driven, at the rate of 5~ per mile, otherwise for the exact mileage at said rate. In the
opinion of the court, said officer should be re-?*ranted said amount of salary and traveling
allowance.
`Pherefore by motion duly made by Goff, seconded by Powell and unanimously approved by
the cor.rt, that the salary of Virgil V. Parsons, City-County Sanitarian, be fixed at ~1$GO.OU

salary of Oliver h4oore, Sheriff of Kerr County, for the ensuing year 1953, and it appearing
to the court that the salary for said officer should he ;3600.00 per annum, payahle in monthly
installments. Therefore by motion duly made by Po•srell, seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously
approved by the court that the salary of Sheriff Oliver Moore, be fixed at .;p3600.U0 per annum,

to the court that said officer is entitled to a salary and that he should be entitled to the
