No. 5961. APPOI~'1NfENT OF JAMES E. NUGENT, COUNTY ATTORNEY, TO REPRESENT KERR COUNTY WITH
JOE BURKETT, JR., STATE REPRESENTATIVE 1N RE: WAR I47i~?ORIAL LEGISLATION.
This the 10th day of February A. D. 1953, came on to be considered by the court the request
of James E. Nugent, County Attorney, to assist Joe Burkett, Jr., State Representative, for any
legislation when taken in connection: with the building of the '.'s'ar Memorial a.nd act in coopera-
tion with the City of Kerrville and Kerr County. It appearing to the court that the County
Attorney should be authorized to assist in this capacity. Therefore by motion duly made by
Guthrie, seconded by Powell and unanimously approved by the court that James E. Nugent, County
Attorney be authorized to work in cooperation with the City of Kerrville and. Joe Burkett, Jr.,
State Representative for any legislation that may be obtained in the erectir.~g of the public
building of the 1'~Iar Memorial and Library.

No. 5962. TRAPiSFER 1N THE AGGR'sGATE OF X2,529.05 to KERR COUN'1'Y S~'CIAL SECLfRiTY FUND.
This the 10th day of February A. D. 1953, after motion having been duly made by Goff,
seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously approved by the court that the County Treasurer be and
~-- he is hereby directed to make the following transfers from the respective funds to the Kerr
County Social Security Fund to-wit:
From the General Fund to Kerr County Social Security Fund X1,737.81
From the Road and Bridge Fund to Kerr County Social Security Fund ~ 766.20
Fror.; the Jury Fund to Kerr County Social Security Fund ~ 25.04
That this transfer is made from the aforementioned funds to cover the year 1.953 figured on the
basis of 3~ for forty-four (44) employees of Kerr County, Texas.

31st, 1953, and it appearing to trie court that said report is true and correct and should be
approved, therefore by motion duly made by Bartel, seconded by Guthrie, and unanimously approves
by the court.
