by The Chas. Schreiner Bank Unincorporated, bearing date February 9th, 1953. It appezring
to the court that the County Depository Fledge Contract covering County Funds, with securities
of one ~100,000.OG, U. S. Treasury Note 12°~ Series A-1955, dated March 15, 1950, due 1,~arch
15, 1955, No. ^725 and that the County Clerk should be directed to forward said bond to the
Comptroller of Public Accounts for his acceptance and upon his approval same will be recorded
in the official bond records of Kerr County; that the County Depository Pledge Contract cover-
ing School Funds has securities of one Ten Thousand U. 3. Treasury Note 12~o Series A-1955,
No. 45440 bearing date ll3arch 15th, 1950, raturing on N.arch 15th, 1955, which bond is executed
as of February 9th, 1953, and one County Depository Pledge Contract covering, County and Dis-
trict Clerks Trust Funds with securities in the amount of X3,000.00, covering three Kerr County,
Texas, 5~ Road Bonds Series of 1931, Bonds Nos. 238 and 239, dated February 10, 1931, due
February 10, 1961 and Bond No. 225 Due February 1G, 1960, in the amount of k',3,000.00, which
contract is dated as of February 9th, 1953. It is the discretion of the court that these bonds
are in due form. Therefore by :otion duly made by Goff, seconded by Povdell and unanimously
approved by the court that the County Denository Fledge Contract covering the County School
and County and District Clerks Trust F"ands be approved and the County Clerk be and is hereby
directed to forvaard the contracts covering the County to the Comptroller of Public Accounts
for his approval and :nail a copy of the County Depository Fledge Contract covering school funds
to the Texas Education Agency, and a copy of each contract with their approval thereon to the
Frost DTational BanY, of San Antonio, Texas, after first being recorded, and that the original
contracts should be retained ir_ the office of the County Clerk.

be submitted to the nualified voters of the said County, who are property taxpayers, who own
taxable property in said County and who have duly rendered the same for taxation, the proposition
of the issuance of bonds for said County in the sum of Two Hundred Thousand (`200,000.00)
Dollars, for the purpose of constructing an Agricultural and Livestock Exhibition Building in
and for said County, as authorized by Article 2372d-2, Revised Civil Statutes of Texas of 1925,
as amended; the election to be held .on the 24th day of B;arch, 1953; the :Motion carried by the

','lHEREAS, the Cormmissioners' Court of Kerr County, Texas, deems it advisable to submit
to the Qualified voters of Kerr County, who are property taxpayers who own taxable property in
said County and who have duly rendered the same for taxation, and proposition hereinafter set
forth;
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED BY THE COr'm".ISSIONERS COURT OF KERR COUNTY, TEK~LS:
That an election be held on the 24th day of March, 1953, at which election the following
proposition shall be submitted:
PROPOSITION
Shall the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, Texas, be authorized to issue bonds oP
said County in the sum of Two Hundred Thousand 0$2,00,000.00) Dollars, payable serially within
fifteen (15) years from their date, bearing interest at a rate not to exceed three (3f) per
cent per annum, and to levy a tax Buff icient to pay the current interest on said bonds and create
a sinking fund sufficient to redeem them at maturity, for the purpose of constructing an
Agricultural and Livestock Exhibition Building in and for said County, as authorized by the
Constitution and Laws of the State of Texas.

thus leaving the other as indicating his vote.
The said election shall be held under the provisions of Chapter 1, Tit:ie 22, Revised
Statutes, 1925, and the Constitution and Laws of the State of Texas, and only Qualified voters
who own taxable property in said County and who have duly rendered the same for taxation,
shall be allowed to vote.
A copy of this order signed by the County Jud~-e of said County and attested by the County
Clerk of said County shall serve as proper notice of said election.
The County Judge is authorized and directed to cause said notice of the election to be
posted up at the County Courthouse door in each election preciret at least fifteen (15) da~•s
prior to the date of said election.
The County Judge is further authorized and directed to cause said notice of election to be
published in some newspaper of general circulation published within said County, on the same
day in each of tvao (2) successive weeks, the date oP the first publication to be not less
than fourteen (14) full days prior to the date set for said election.

Lawrence Stephens, County Clerk, the necessity for an advancement to the Co':nty Clerk funds
to assist in the payment of his deputies and~or assistants in compliance with Article 3932,
~-t. C. S. It appearing to the court that said officer is entitled to said advancement and that
same should be made from the General Fund of Kerr County. Therefore by :ot.ion duly made by
Guthrie, seconded by rowell, and unanimously approved by the court that the advancement of
X500.00 be paid out of the General Fund of Kerr County, to the County Clerks Fund of Kerr
