Each voter shall mark out with black ink or black pencil one of the above expressions,
thus leaving the other as indicating his vote.
The said election shall be held under the provisions of Chapter 1, Tittle 22, Revised
Statutes, 1925, and the Constitution and Laws of the State of Texas, and on:Ly Qualified voters
who own taxable property in said County and who have duly rendered the samE: for taxation,
shall be allowed to vote.
A copy of this order signed by the County Jude of said County and attEated by the County
Clerk of said County shall serve as proper notice of said election.
The County Jude is authorized and directed to cause said notice of the election to be
posted up at the County Courthouse door in each election precinct at least fifteen (15) days
prior to the date of said election.
The County Judge is further authorized and directed to cause said notice of election to be
published in some newspaper of general circulation published within said County, on the same
day in each oP two (2) successive weeks, the date oP the first publication 1;o be not less
than fourteen (14) full days prior to the date set for said election.

This the 25th day of February, A. D. 1953, came on to be presented to the court by
Lawrence Stephens, County Clerk, the necessity for an advancement to the Co`:nty Clerk funds
to assist in the payment of his deputies and/or assistants in compliance with Article 3932,
d. C. S. It appearing to the court that said officer is entitled to said advancement and that
same should be made from the General Fund of Kerr County. Therefore by ::otion duly made by
Guthrie, seconded by %owell, and unanimously approved by the court that the advancement of
X500.00 be paid out of the General Fund of Kerr County, to the County Clerks Fund of Kerr
County as per article 3932 R. C. S.

This the 28th day of February A. D. 1953, came on to be presented to the court by
Lee Taylor, claii:.ant for the care and nursing of Riley Smith an invalid, from February 6th,
1953 to February 20th, 1953. It appearing to the court, that Mr. Taylor has worked 2f: days
on 24 hour basis and that he should be paid the sum of y10.00 per day. Therefore by motion
duly made by Guthrie seconded by Bartel, and unanimously approved by the court that the County
Clerk be and is hereby directed to issue voucher against the County Treasurer in the amoint

Nc. 5985. ACCEPTANCE OF DITTN_'aR & COP"PANY AS LOPIEST BIDDER FOR tURCHASE OF~OO,000.00 BONDS.
This the 28th day of February, A. D. 1953, came on to be considered by the court t;he bids
of six bonding companies for the purchase of X200,000.00 bonds, namely Chas. Schreiner (Unin-
corporated), Kerrville, Texas; Dewar Robertson & Pancoast, San Antonio, 'Texas; xauscher, Fierce
~, Cor;pany, San Antonio and Dallas; :z. J. Edwards, Inc., San Antonio and Dallas, Texas; The
Columbian Securities Corporation of Texas, San Antonio, Texas, and Dittmar & Company, San
Antonio and Dallas, Texas. It appearing to the court that Dittmar and Company had the lowest
bid with an average interest at the rate of 2.459 per cent with a net interest cost of :41,595.00
and that Kerr County should accept and sell the ~200,000.UO bonds to llittmar & Company of San
Antonio and Dallas, Texas, as per contract duly executed and entered herewith.
