This the 28th day of February A. D. 1953, came on to be presented to the court by
Lee Taylor, clain.ant for the care and nursing of Riley Smith an invalid, from February 6th,
1953 to February 20th, 1953. It appearing to the court, that Mr. Taylor has worked 22 days
on 24 hour basis and that he should be paid the sum of ."y10.00 per day. Therefore by motion
duly made by Guthrie seconded by Bartel, and unanimously approved by the court that thc; County _
Clerk be and is hereby directed to issue voucher against the County Treasurer in the amornt

This the 28th day of February, A. D. 1953, came on to be considered by the court t;he bids
of six bonding companies for the purchase of X200,000.00 bonds, namely Chas. Schreiner (Unin-
corporated), Kerrville, Texas; Dewar Robertson & Pancoast, San Antonio, 'Texas; Rauscher, Fierce
& Company, San Antonio and Dallas; R. J. Edwards, Inc., San Antonio and Dallas, Texas; The
Columbian Securities Corporation of Texas, San Antonio, Texas, and Dittmar & Company, San
Antonio and Dallas, Texas. It appearing to the court that Dittn;ar and Company had the lowest
bid with an average interest at the rate of 2.459 per cent with a net interest cost of X41,595.00
and that Kerr County should accept and sell the 200,000.00 bonds to Dittmar & Company of San
Antonio and Dallas, Texas, as per contract duly executed and entered herewith.

Gentlemen:
For the legally issued Agricultural, Horticultural and Livestock Exposition bonds of your
.. County, in the par value of X200,000. to be dated on or about May 1, 1953, i.n denomination of
;1,000. and to mature: on or about May 1st of each year as follows: 1954 & 1.955 X11,000. 1956
thru 58 12,000. 1959 thru 61 13,000. 1962 & 1963 14,000. 1964 thru 68 15,000. Bonds to be
optional for prior payment ten years from date or any interest date thereafter at par and
accrued interest, to bear interest, payable semi-annually beginning May 1, 1.954 at a paying
