No. 5993. PLANS FOR INVESTIGATING COUNTY AF,ALTH UNIT.
This the 10th day of Meroh, A. D. 1953, came in person is open oommiss Toners court,
twenty citizens of Kerr County, requesting the organization of a County Reelth IInit of Kerr
County, and after due deliberation, the ao urt is of the opinion that financial assistance may
be obtained from the State Department of Ae alth end that adjoining counties may be desirous o:
combining a health unit in this District. The Court is of the opinion that it would be ad-

vantageous to Karr County and adjoining Counties to contact the State Health Officer for any
particulars, and set a date for future meeting Por the benefit of Kerr County and any adjo ini
county that is interested, to assist in the organization of a health unit, and that the Co uat~
Judge and County Attorney should be authorized to make any and all arrangements in connection)
therewith. Therefore by motion duly made by Go PP, seconded by Bsrtel and unanimously approve
by the court that the County Judge and County Attorney be Further authorized to contact the ~~!
State Health Officer for all particulars on such organization, together with any financial
assistance that may be obtained, and contact the Commissioners Court oP the adjoining co untie
