This the 10th day of March A. D. 1953, came on to be presented to the court the written
and oral proposition of three auditing Firms of R'. R. Meredith, C. P. A., Rerrv111e, Texss;

C. P. A., man Antonio, Texas. 77herefcre the court having published a notice for the auditing
of the Precinct, County and District Officers books for the year 1951 and 1952 and upon con-
sidering oP the written and oral propositions filed, that W. R. Meredith should be awarded k
said Audit for the year 1951 and 1952, to be completed by the regular May term oP 1953. Them
fore by motion duly made by Powell, seconded by Guthrie and unanimously approved by the co urt
that '.Y. R. h4aredith be authorized to audit the 1951-1952 County Books, covering ell Precinct,
County, and District Off ioers Books of Kerr County, to be completed by the regular May Term o1
1953.

No. 5993. PLANS FOR INVESTIGATING COUNTY HEALTH UNIT.
This the 10th day oP March, A. D. 1953, came in person in open oommisa Toners court,
twenty citizens of Rerr County, requesting the organization of a County Health IInit of Kerr
County, and after due dellberation, the court is of the opinion that financial assistance may,
be obtained Prom the State Department of Health end that adjoining counties may be desirous o]
combining a health unit in this District. The Ce urt is of the opinion that it would ba ad-
vantageous to Kerr County and adjoining Counties to contact the State Health Officer Por aay
particulars, and set a date for future meeting for the benefit of Kerr County and any adjoini:
co uaty that is interested, to assist in the organization of a health unit, and that the Count;
Judge and County Attorney should be authorized to make any and all arrangements in connection
therewith. ThereY ore by motion duly made by Goff, seconded by Bartel and unanimously approve
Dy the court that the County judge and County Attorney be further authorized to contact the
State Health Officer for ell particulars on such organization, together with any Pinanc ial
assistance that may be obtained, and contact the Commissioners Court of the adjoining count ie
