INCREASED DUTIES AND SALARY OF JANITOR-CUSTODIAN. 'Phis the 12th day of March, A. D. 1953, came on to be considered by the court the need to reduce the expenses incurred on the court house yard maintenance. Wherefore the court, after the reviewing of the expenses incurred through the past summer months in an approximate amount of X44.00 per week, feel that such labor could be performed under a more econoiuical basis. After having conferred with Irvin Parks, janitor-custodian, it is believed that by increasing said Parks salary X50.00 a month, that he could water and mow the court house lawn anti may be assisted by prisoners in the County jail, fran time to time at a great savings to the tax payers of Kerr County and that his duties should be increased together with his salary in an amount of X50.00 per month. Therefore by motion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Po~Nell, and unanimously approved by the court that Irvin Parks' duties be increased to watering and mowing the court house lawn with an increase of salary from X1800.00 to X2400.00 per annum with this additional service to begin on April 1st, 1953, and the County Clerk be and is hereby directed to draw voucher against the County Treasurer in favor of Irvin Parks, payable out of the General Fund of Kerr County in semi-monthly installments of X100.00 each, beginning April 15th, 1953, and a like semi-monthly payment thereafter until further determined by the court. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o -oo
