D. 1953, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of changing the terminus of Farm-to-Market Road #1273, and the Court having consi- -. dered the same and believing it would be an advantage to the County and the public to :request the State Highway Commission to change the former minute and order to construct Farm-to-Darket 1273 Prom Highway 16 a distance of approximately 3.9 miles to the property line of Maddox Camp to read: From Highway 16 a distance of 2.5 miles to the property line of doe Sid Peterson and E. A. Graham; and On motion by L. M. Guthrie, seconded by Lee Goff, that this Court request the Higlsway Commission to change the terminus of said Farm-to-Il:arket Road to terminate at the Pete'rson- Graham property line, which unaniunously'carried and it is so ordered. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o No. 6015. ADOPTION OF CURB AND GUPTER ON HIGHI"1AY 16 r'ROi~. CITY LIMITS TO ROYCE STREET. This the 17th day of March, A. D. 1953, came on to be considered by the court, the necessity to adopt the policy to curb and gutter along the present property lines fronting on Highway 16, beginning from the present city limits and extending northeast to Royce Street, ^i perferable then purchasing additional right-of-ways from each of such property owners along the proposed route. Wherefore the court is of the opinion that such acceptance would be less expensive to the county and should be made a policy of this court. Therefore by motion duly made by Goff, seconded by Powell, and unanimously approved by the court that the Count,T should bear the expenses for curb and gutter along the present property lines along Highway lEi from the present city limits line of Kerrville extending northeast to Royce Street. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o No. 6016. D. 1953, came ou to be considered by the court, the application of Laurence Stephens, County Cleark, for his autY,oritq to appoint and deputize, h:argaret 'fJatson, Chief Deputy, County Clerk, end it appearing to the court that said officer is entitled to said chief deputy, and that said application should be approved; therefore by motion duly made by Guthrie, seconded by Bartel, and unanimously approved by the court, that said officer is authorized to deputize said chief deputy and that said appointment is to date from March 17th, 1953, and to continue in farce until revoked by said officer or be otherwise terminated and that the compensation of said chief deputy is to be paid solely from the fees of said office.
