Kerr County, Texas, convened in regular session at a Special term thereof at the regular meet-
ing place in the Courthouse in Kerrville, Texas, with the following members, to-wit:

There came on to be considered the returns of an election held in said County on 'the 24th
day of March, 1953, to determine whether or not the bonds of said County shall be issued to
the amount of X200,000.00, bearing interest at a rate not to exceed three (3~) per cent per
annum, and maturing serially within fifteen (15) years from their date, for the purpose of
constructing an Agricultural and Livestock Exhibition Buildir_g in and for said County, and
whether or not there shall be levied a tax uaon all taxable property within Kerr Country suffic-
ient to pay the current interest on said bonds and provide a sinking fund sufficient to pay
the principal at maturity; and,
It appearing that said election was in all respects legally held after due notice had
been given and that the said returns were duly and legally made, and that there were c,est
at said election 1077 valid and leT;al votes, of which number there were cast:

IT IS THER'.FORE ORDERED AND DECLARED by the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, 'Pexas
that the proposition to issue said bonds was sustained by a majority of the qualified :pro-
perty taxpaying votes, who owned taxable property in said County and who had duly rendered the
same for taxation, and that the Commissioners' Court of said County is authorized to issue
said bonds and to levy and have assessed and collected said tax for the payment of the prin-
cipal of and interest on said bonds at maturity.
The above order being read, it was moved and seconded that same do pass. Thereupon, the
question being called for, the following members of the Court voted AYE: L. h^. Guthrie, V.

open court the returns of the election held on April 4th, 1953, of the Trustees of the Common
School District, Hunt, and Center Point Independent School Districts for Trustees and County
School Trustees at large of the respective Districts. It appearing to the court that after
opening, canvassing, and tabulating said returns as tabulated in Vol. 4, pa€;e 17-18 showing
the varification of said court thereon, said returns should be approved as tabulated thereon.
